Guess what? I think the CEO of Credit Suisse got fired in January because he was involved in the scam to use the Vatican's "Charity Funds" in an illegal real estate scam, and for God knows what else. . . And they said he was fired because he violated company covid policy.

Credit Suisse Chairman, António Horta-Osório (Sir António) was Jesuit-educated [connected to Vatican] Plus he was also UK based for most of his career before moving to Switzerland to head up Credit Suisse:

But in the UK, Sir António has always been a colourful character.

He was even Knighted by the British Royals

He was a relative unknown when, in 2011, he was encouraged by the then Chancellor George Osborne to become the chief executive of Lloyds. [Connections in very high places]

Prior to that, the Portuguese banker - he would later become a dual British citizen - was the boss of Spanish giant Santander's UK arm.

When Sir António took the job at Lloyds, he was a comparatively youthful 47 years-old. As one of the UK's most high-profile bankers "AHO", as he is known in some circles, is credited with dragging Lloyds Banking Group back from the precipice following the financial crisis.

He was probably central to the UK real estate deal involving funds that came from a unit of the Vatican that manages charitable donations, known asPeter’s Pence.

There's a lot more going on here than one deal I bet. If I had to guess, Pope Francis's Peter's Pence Charity fund was really a slush fund, and organized crime laundromat. God only knows what else that money was involved in [trafficking?]

The Pope's charity has previously been called out repeatedly for looking like a scam fund: Only 10% of Pope's charitable fund goes to the needy: Wall Street Journal

Background on the Vatican's Fraudulent Real Estate Deal in London

Vatican officials last week arrested a man who appears to be at the center of a U.K. real estate scandal that has been a thorn in the side of the Holy See for two years.

Vatican police arrested Italian businessman Gianluigi Torzi for what they called “extortion, embezzlement, aggravated fraud, and self laundering.”

Torzi brokered the Vatican’s purchase of an office building in London, 60 Sloane Avenue, from Italian businessman Raffaele Mincione.

'The Vatican bought the property in stages from 2014 to 2018 and appeared to grossly overpay.

Torzi reportedly made 10 million euros for his role in the deal, according to the Catholic News Agency. The Vatican accused Torzi of extorting the Church and threatening to keep the property.

In late 2018, for a reason that’s perplexed outside parties, the church signed over the property to a company controlled by Torzi.

Mincione is facing criminal proceedings in the Vatican for his role in a deal in which Peter’s Pence assets were used to buy 60 Sloane Avenue, a building in the Knightsbridge district of London.

The Vatican has set a July 27 trial date for 10 people, including a once-powerful cardinal and papal contender, on charges related to the Holy See’s 350 million euro investment in a luxury London real estate venture.

The 487-page indictment request capped a two-year investigation that exposed how the Vatican had lost millions of euros — much of it donations from the faithful — in fees to brokers, bad investments and other questionable expenses. Beyond that, prosecutors allege a variety of charges against the defendants, including extortion, embezzlement, abuse of office and corruption.

The Vatican is investigating itself and putting ITSELF on trial. I think we all know how that will work out.
