James Comey - just when I am sure he is part of the Cabal, the Inspector General throws a curve ball. INSUBORDINATION. Did Comey color outside the lines and defy protocol announcing no charges against Hillary? Definitely.

But why? Letting Loretta Lynch announce no charges would have been better for him! It would have been LL's problem. It was like he was trying to warn us about everything being corrupt - first by laying out all the things Hillary did wrong; second by then exonerating her.

POTUS continues to lambaste Comey publicly which seemed to assure he's a black hat, but then insubordination charges make me second guess it again. He could have let LL take the heat. Why, why,why????

I think you make a valid point about Mueller and Comey. They are not pure, but they are not total evil either. I remember listening live to Comey's decision. First I was sure Hillary would be charged. Then shocked by conclusion. Giving him the benefit of the doubt after a week or so, I concluded he did the best he could alerting the public to the truth knowing DOJ would never have given details and buried it just like the IRS scandal. Same goes for Weiner laptop.

On the other hand, it may have all been to cover his professional *ss and reputation. Not much different than the Ashcroft incident - making Comey look like the hero.
