Abortion bans are obviously a restriction on Jewish religious liberty btw, and as we speak republicans are developing a legal strategy that claims non-orthodox Jews don’t count as religious and thus should not get their religion protected in response.

Congregation L'Dor Va-Dor in Boyton Beach is suing over the state’s 15 week abortion ban. Jewish law says that abortion is “required if necessary to protect the health, mental or physical well-being of the woman.” Religious freedom is for everybody, not just Christians.
