There were a bunch of Smart people, who were tired of being bullied & blackmailed by a bunch of Evil people.
So they go together and came up with a Plan to eliminate the Evil people.
But since the Evil people had been able to fool the Simple Minded Good people, the Smart Good people had to warn the Good people what was going to happen, so that the Simple Minded Good people would know the truth, and not believe the lies of the Evil people.

Indeed.
Most people are sheep.
But that can be used to the advantage of Good Leaders as well.
Sheep need a Good Shepherd.
10% Critical Mass is all that is necessary, the rest will fall in line. It is predictable.
If a slave owner abuses his slave, his slave is likely to rebel & try to escape. If a slave owner provides well for his slave (food, clothes, shelter), his slave is more likely to be complacent & compliant & content with his lot in life as a slave.
Sometimes, we need to experience a bit of discomfort to even realize that we are a slaves.
