Gravity propagates 10^24 faster than light.
It's why black holes are black.
If light was the fastest thing, you would "see" a black hole. (or it would be a non-hole at all).
For gravity to "bend" light, light must have mass.
Minuscule, but it does cause motion in a vacuum tube with the "black/white finned turbine" (without using google to look up that name of the science experiment.)

Particles are SO SMALL they pass thru a planet only striking a few atoms. Thus denser objects collect more "strikes" from above.
There will be deficiency of these particles coming out of the planet as opposed to the ones going into it.
So you get hit on the head "more" than from the feet. The net difference is pushing you towards the surface.
IF the planet absorbed ALL of these particles, it would be a singularity and you would be smashed to the surface. Along with light.
