Globals first appeared as announcements above notables on same page when BO had a major announcement - #1943, 5/25/18.

Globals first called GLOBALS in #1965, 5/27/18.

Discontinued sometime after OSS became BV; when i requested reinstatement of Globals in January, newfags didn't know what they were.

Currently, Globals are sometimes separated from notables when it would cause "page too long" message but only on the fly - just as with notables.

Would like to keep it informal, no formal page break. Been using the same format since the start, never an issue before afaik.

globals is baked on a separate page only when the first notable bun is very long and likely to generate "page too long" if globals is included

treated exactly the way that notable buns are - we use the minimum posts possible but if there is a question, can expand during the bake

Right now, survival against attacks, fixing "must do" glitches and finding responsible bakers/notetakers is kind of where we are at
