America’s First Feminists Opposed Abortion, Then The Movement Was Hijacked

The U.S. Supreme Court’s decision Friday to strike down Roe v. Wade and hand abortion lawmaking back to the states would have been supported by America’s first feminists, history shows.

Today’s pro-abortion activists are a far cry from America’s early feminists, who were responsible for organizing meaningful change on behalf of women’s rights in voting, education and employment, but believed abortion was an “evil” practice, according to Susan B. Anthony (SBA) Pro-Life America.

Cornyn, Other Republicans Push For Biden Administration To Expand Critical Race Theory In Schools

The Civics Secures Democracy Act would let the Biden administration impose critical race theory on public school civics courses via grants.

If you’re keeping an eye on what Sen. John Cornyn has in store for your Second Amendment rights, you might want to watch his other hand. He has just recently reintroduced the Civics Secures Democracy Act, which would enable the federal government to impose critical race theory (CRT) — that is, state-sanctioned racism and anti-Americanism — on public school civics courses via federal grants.

Of course, the drafters of the bill are too politically savvy to explicitly endorse critical race theory. Instead, the legislation provides for $6 billion in federal grants to states, nonprofit organizations, institutions of higher education, and researchers to improve civics and American history education primarily for “traditionally underserved students”

As explained in detail by Stanley Kurtz at the Ethics and Public Policy Center (see here and here), this anodyne-sounding terminology masks a deeply partisan agenda – an agenda that parents are fighting across the country. Kurtz reports that while the re-introduced bill removes a previous iteration’s problematic references to “action civics” (leftist political agitation for course credit), its central focus on “underserved” students is key to how the Biden Department of Education will implement it.

Cornyn’s bill, co-sponsored by GOP Sens. Jim Inhofe and Bill Cassidy and Rep. Tom Cole, would allow Biden educrats to award great sums of money to states willing to teach this politicized dogma under the guise of civics.

It’s not as though Cornyn is unaware of the dangers of his bill. He has surely read the warnings – including one from the respected National Association of Scholars – that the bill is a Trojan horse for leftist propaganda.

This is the same kind of rule that failed to block the Common Core debacle. As Kurtz points out, Cornyn’s CRT bill is following the same path that Common Core did, only with higher stakes. How many times will the feds manipulate well-intentioned grants to impose onerous strings and political agendas before Republican politicos catch on to the game?

Fortunately, the most recent warnings about Cornyn’s federal CRT bill seem to be getting traction among conservatives with a microphone. Radio host Mark Levin featured Kurtz on his show, and even former President Trump weighed in when speaking to the Faith and Freedom Coalition.

On “The Ingraham Angle,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich expressed dismay that Republicans in Congress are being led down this leftist primrose path. Cornyn’s bill “is crazy,” Gingrich said. “No Republican should be for it. … And I’m frankly astonished that any Republican would agree to co-sponsor that bill, and I think it’s an open invitation to further creating a totalitarian left-wing mindset where they’re gonna tell us how we think, how we behave, what we’re allowed to do.”

“I certainly hope that the handful of Republicans who are co-sponsors will withdraw their names,” he concluded. “And I hope folks back home will call them and demand that they withdraw their names.”

Why Democrats Oppose Emancipation For The Unborn

The argument, already gaining steam in public discourse, is that without a constitutional right to kill the unborn, women are relegated to a kind of second-class status, stripped of their full humanity. This rhetoric will be used in part as a justification for violence, but it also reflects the actual views of Democrats and the left on abortion.

Indeed, the very first paragraph of Justice Stephen Breyer’s dissent in Dobbs makes this claim: “Respecting a woman as an autonomous being, and granting her full equality, meant giving her substantial choice over this most personal and most consequential of all life decisions.” Note the phrase “full equality.” Without a right to abortion, women do not have full equality, goes the argument.

It is not the first time Democrats have asserted absolute constitutional rights that for their vindication require the total abnegation of rights or even personhood of entire classes of people. The modern Democratic Party’s stance on abortion rights is almost indistinguishable from its antebellum stance on the constitutionality of slaveowner rights.

Prior to the Civil War amendments, Democrats asserted that the inherent rights of white men, not just property rights but all of them, required the complete denial of the rights of black Americans. Today, Democrats assert that the inherent rights of women require the complete denial of the rights of the unborn.

Southern Democrats believed the denial of all rights to black people — and indeed the denial of their personhood — was integral to what they understood to be their constitutionally protected rights, without which they would cease to be citizens with equal rights as their northern counterparts.

The exact same thing can be said of today’s pro-abortion Democrats. They believe that the denial of all rights to the unborn is integral to what they understand to be women’s constitutionally protected rights, without which they will cease to be citizens with equal rights as their male counterparts. If women are not allowed to kill their unborn babies, they will be stripped of their full humanity, just as stripping slavery from southern whites meant, to them, stripping full humanity from white people.

The Dobbs decision and the end of Roe have exposed the Democrat view of the Constitution for what it is: not, as Frederick Douglass called it, “a glorious liberty document,” but a slave Constitution that relies for its operation on the total subjugation, indeed the extermination, of an entire class of people whose very humanity must be denied for the rights of women to be vindicated.

We should rejoice in the end of Roe, but we should also be realistic about what lies ahead. It took a civil war and three constitutional amendments to correct the Supreme Court’s error in Dred Scott. This time it took 60 million unborn dead before the Supreme Court corrected the error of Roe.

In the coming days and weeks, expect Democrats to sound the same notes of secession their forebears sounded.

Monkey Pox

Truth versus Fearporn.

Robert W Malone MD, MS

…."Monkeypox is related to Smallpox, this does not in any way mean that it represents a similar public health threat. Anyone who implies otherwise is basically engaged in or otherwise supporting weaponized public health-related propaganda. In other words, spreading public health fearporn."

In other words, if you have been vaccinated with a smallpox vaccine, or previously infected by Cowpox, Camelpox, or Monkeypox, you are highly likely to be quite resistant to disease caused by the Monkeypox virus which is now being (quite rarely) reported in non-African countries.

Current data indicate that Monkeypox is not very infectious in humans - it has a low Ro (perhaps below 1), which is the term used to describe how efficiency an infectious disease can spread from human to human. Again, this is super good news for containment.

So, is the biothreat real? Is is imminent? Does it justify the global media hype? As I was waiting in an airport lounge to travel from USA to the UK two days ago, I saw a newsreel from CNN which was breathlessly reporting on this “threat” while displaying historic images of patients suffering from Smallpox disease. This provides a classical example of public health fearporn, in my opinion, and CNN should be reprimanded for broadcasting irresponsible propaganda - misinformation and disinformation- under the guise of journalism.

Tensions Rising in Russia

People have been reaching out to me about the video of Putin being rushed to The Kremlin. Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov just publicly refuted the claims that Putin would be giving some sort of emergency speech, but did not refute that he was in fact rushed to The Kremlin.

Over the past couple of days, Russia has been dealing with an escalating situation with Lithuania, over a railroad blockade of food supply from Kaliningrad to Russian ally Belarus, via the Suwalki Corridor.

The US are publicly backing Lithuania, and NATO countries are supplying troops all along the Russian border in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland. Over the past couple days, Russia has warned repeatedly that if the blockade is not removed, they will have to resort to “non-diplomatic solutions”.

So is something going on in Russia? Absolutely, and we all should be paying attention. One false step, and this proxy war could turn into something else entirely.

It’s Always About the Money

Dems are pissed, but WHY are the Dems so angry about this ruling? Well many reasons, but its mostly about MONEY.

With the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade, many States immediately cancelled all scheduled abortions, and shut down all Planned Parenthoods across the state. This will continue across every red state. This is a massive hit into campaign funding and slush money the DNC generates from Planned Parenthood.

Look at Planned Parenthood’s campaign donations. They are 100% to DNC candidates. The DNC are running their campaigns on the revenue from slaughtering babies.

They spent $45+ million on the 2020 elections alone. Every penny was given to Democrats.

The Democrat politicians are not concerned about “women’s rights”, they are upset because they just lost $20+ million in campaign funding per year.
