Four explosions erupted this morning in Kiev, Agence France-Presse reported, adding that data on possible victims are not available.
A residential complex near the city center was reportedly hit and a fire broke out.
The explosions were around 6:30 a.m., local time, half an hour after the sirens sounded.
The capital of Ukraine has not been the target of Russian bombing for almost three weeks.

The goal of the Russian attack on Kiev early this morning is to “intimidate the Ukrainians” ahead of the NATO summit, said Mayor Vitali Klitschko and added that two people were injured in the explosions.
It is about “intimidating Ukrainians as the NATO summit is approaching” from June 28 to 30 in Madrid, said Klitschko, who went to the place of the attack.
