This kind of thing wouldn't exist within the database necessarily, it would be hard coded and likely compiled into a binary running on the server.
Untouchable only by those with access at a server code level… Not the UI level (AdminTewlz), or even database level depending on how it's coded.

Who said I gave up on the MAC Address?
For an additional layer of security in case someone could have gotten the password (highly unlikely), but not the device with a MAC Address that hasalsobeen hard coded into the same function allowing the salt bypass.
It's called two factor authentication, and it's NOT NEW ass hat.

Sauce is the knowledge that any server side programmer would know that had -ever- done any kind of secure login creation that includes two factor authentication and the necessity for a built in manual override.

Then go read a programming book on Client/Server communication..
I don't have the time to spend an entire day explaining how server side programming works, this isn't a "find an article" that proves sauce situation.
Ask any programmer worth their salt (kek) and they'd tell you what I'm saying is -very- possible.
Nobody is going to willing sauce server code that does exactly this for obvious reasons.
This is not an assumption… This is fact of years of knowledge that any programmer of this type of software would know.
