I think it's perfectly plausible that they could have hacked into 8kun or jims laptop to retrieve the salt, and then spent a long time brute forcing Q's trip with some CIA supercomputer.
Without the salt i think it would be almost impossible to crack Q's trip, but with the salt it would be many orders of magnitude easier.
I only have basic experience of using python and c++ for arduino and RP projects, i don't have any server or website experience.
Are there no safegaurds to prevent this kind of thing being possible? So anyone with access to the server, could just make any old nonsense produce Q's flashing trip, simply by changing a config file?
If so, can that be done while the site is up and running?
