verification should be trust-less. If verification requires me to trust a human being, even Jim, then it is not yet true verification. There are many red flags, and it is a fact that authenticity has not been established beyond a reasonable doubt.

why did he post that right then? just a coincidence? we are in the midst of trying to establish authenticity of q posts. at the very least, that is a relevant data point.

it's definitely notable.

The notable even ads a question mark, not confirmed proof, just a data point for our consideration.

More notable to me, actually, is how long it took for something like that to get onto notables, and how many people like yourself are getting upset about the inclusion of a possibly relevant data point.

the entire world knows "q" posted on aggregators, etc. The entire world is interested in understanding if that is legit or fake. It's why I am posting on the board right now myself. Trying to figure out if it's real or not. That's relevant information. In fact, the only reason I had to come here, and not just look at the notable aggregators, was precisely because of your view concerning this. I imagine even you yourself do not fully agree with what you are saying, because you also are here and posting and not relying on some list of notables to decide for you. It is only because of my own familiarity with the actual messiness of this board that I knew I had to actually go and see for myself what is happening right now. It really is an information war, and there is always such a war over what does and does not get included in notables, and bakers can and often are shills themselves. Infiltration, not invasion… that's a true statement. and the notable aggregators have gone to shit over the last few years, a decline in the notableness of notables.

for what it is worth, this anon strongly disagrees with your stance on the issue of hiding information. imo, shining a light on things is always better than keeping things locked up in the dark. I fully support more light on all messiness, increases trust for everyone. I think exposing messiness also has the added beneficial effect of increasing the number of people who, made aware of the mess, can and want to come here to help tidy up the place. Traffic has increased hugely over the past week, and people want to understand what is going on.
