Wasn't there a suggestion, maybe about a week ago, that the reason proffered documents were not inspected was because Gowdy or somebody else suspected it was a sting, that document contents would be leaked, and then it would be blamed on him or whoever else saw the documents that day? So they refused to actually be shown the demanded documents? I seem to recall having read that a while ago, someone's speculation, not necessarily factual.
So maybe all of that will get cleared up now…?
There are so many different documents, and oversight committees, and demands for documents, and allegations, it does become rather confusing.
