Here is the info on Mendon, Ill. The rally was held at the Adams County Fairgrounds.
Sometimes it is referred to as Q-Town and Q-City.
I believe Q-Town was used many times in announcing the rally on some sites.
Quincy, Ill is also a city on the Mississippi River. Q-town may be used in that city as well.
If I remember correctly, an Anon pointed out that Quincy Illinois was only a swamp when it was founded in approximately 1850.
They had to “drain the swamp” to make it livable.
