Mr. Biden: Ultimately, congress is gonna have to act to codify Roe into federal law. The filibusterer should not stand in the way of us being able to do that. But right now, we don't have the votes in the senate to change the filibuster at the moment.

Biden just gave an example of an 11-year old victim of incest, who finds herself pregnant.

Mr. Biden: People are going to be shocked when the first state…that tries to arrest a woman for crossing the state line to get health services…it's gonna happen, and it's gonna telegraph to the whole country that this is a gigantic deal that affects all your basic rights.
Biden just kicked the press out of the meeting, before all the governors gave opening remarks. Some of the most extreme abortion voices, Polis, Pritzker, Inslee, and Brown, weren't shown. Maybe it was anticipated that they would sound too fanatical.
