On June 23rd, Sweden will celebrate the summer equinox (which astrologically occurs on the 21st of June).
It is known as 'Midsommarafton' (Midsummer's Eve) and is a pagan tradition that has lived on strong despite attempts at Christianizing the holiday.
All days of the year in Sweden have names to be celebrated during the day (so-called 'namnsdag' or 'name days'.
The Names of Midsummer's Eve are ADOLF and ALICE
