Shots were allegedly fired at police. If the guy was all legal above board then why did he run from the police?

 

The Akron Police Department released an official statement on their Facebook page on Tuesday morning (June 28). It noted that “Akron Police Officers attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation,” but “the operator of the vehicle refused to stop; as a result, a vehicle pursuit was initiated.” The message adds, “During the pursuit, officers reported a firearm being discharged from the [suspect’s] vehicle.” The lengthy post goes on to say, “While the vehicle was still moving, the suspect fled from the vehicle on foot. Officers engaged the suspect in a foot pursuit in order to apprehend him.”

Large number suffering effects from the shots.

Many jobs lost when airlines scaled back during the lockdowns, these pilots retired or found new jobs.

When an indictment is issued on someone, it means he will be arrested and charged with the crime. A sealed indictment is simply an indictment that is kept secret from the public. At this point, no one can disclose the existence of the indictment so no one knows who is under investigation for a crime and what offense is alleged.

At some appropriate moment which prosecutors decide, the indictment is unsealed and a warrant is issued for the suspect's arrest. So, while an indictment may start out sealed, it will become unsealed and part of the public record before the defendant goes to trial.

Most likely because the defendant is part of a bigger conspiracy the indictment is sealed to buy time while others are investigated and indicted.
