"An unidentified person rammed the front gate of the US embassy in Seoul on Thursday and was promptly arrested.

The UK's Mirror reported that the silver Toyota Sedan used in the incident was driven by a man who said he was seeking asylum in the US, with reports adding that he was a North Korean civil servant. The man reportedly said he drove into the embassy because he has "stories related to North Korea".

A photo posted by Reuters correspondent Josh Smith shows a silver Toyota sedan with damage to the front after hitting the gate.

According to RT, the man reportedly said "help me" several times after getting out of the vehicle. According to witnesses cited by Sputnik, the driver was a 48-year-old man by the name of Yun. Police have reportedly stated that his blood alcohol level showed no signs of intoxication.

The driver reportedly claimed to be seeking asylum because of an "embarrassment" with North Korea."

NK intel agent seeking asylum in US? Asset that was at risk and was on the run?

Patriots, thoughts?

More intersting development, perhaps closure in the ZTE business:

US Has Struck A "Definitive" Deal With ZTE: Ross

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-06-07/us-has-struck-deal-zte-ross-says

"After weeks of haggling over trade, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross announced on CNBC Thursday morning that the US had reached a "definitive" deal with Chinese telecom giant ZTE to allow it to resume purchases from American suppliers, preventing a collapse of the massive Chinese corporation which was facing near certain death otherwise, and which, according to many, was a critical gating factor for China to greenlight the US-North Korea summit on June 12.

"At about 6 a.m. this morning, we executed a definitive agreement with ZTE. And that brings to a conclusion this phase of the development with them," Ross said on CNBC."

We reached agreement with china on how to handle this sigint situation with ZTE? Sounds good.
