Kate Spade commits suicide. Leaves note to 13 year old daughter letting her know it wasn't her fault, but instructing her to ask her father. Andy, said father, has very troubling pictures that, soon to be scrubbed, ANONS found on Insta. Couple were rumored to be having 'difficulties' and living apart.
Question 1. Am I right in thinking Andy is bad, bad pizza-style news. Or at least it's fair to form that impression about him?
Question 2. Do you agree that perhaps Q had a double meaning about suicides. That innocent people who discover certain things might feel so overwhelmed with grief and guilt that they choose suicide to end the horror? If yes, there is probably a large group who, over the next few years, will be learning terrible things. Things so dark they will be unbearable to good hearted people.

He may have been a lifeguard when younger, camp counselor, Boy Scout leader. They don't change their spots, he 'may' have taken his pathology home where 'it' was readily available and he felt safer. Only had to keep tabs on the trusting partner, who probably spent many hours away at her gallery. THESE PEOPLE ARE SICK!

Read my other posts for a longer answer. I get the feeling she was a trusting person who lived in denial, and as a result, allowed herself to believe things she knew in her heart weren't true. But NOBODY wants to believe that could be happening! If confronted with solid proof, it could be too much to process. The guilt alone could kill you.
It is a major problem. I pray your estimate is incorrect, though it's also the type of problem that is hard to accurately measure. At least people's views are changing for the better, and progress with the Catholic Church clergy and other scandals (Franklin cover-up etc.). Before these people were protected by an underground network. Now they are hunted down, no protection, even decades later.

I'm still waiting for your reply. What you just told me by your wholly inappropriate and disrespectful reply, is that you are intimately familiar with the topic of child abuse. The only question left (if you're going to be honest with yourself), is to recognize which side you're on. An abusive uncle growing up, or perhaps you are the uncle? As to my parenting, if one of my cats were to be killed I would be consumed with grief for letting them venture outside. It would be the end of me. So why would I not have similar feelings if it were my child?
You are lost, angry, internally conflicted and confused. You might ask yourself why yours was the only reply out of close to ten that expressed any hostility towards me for what I wrote.
