FYI:

Bone Spurs is an indication that your body is starving of calcium. The cells in your body need calcium and if they do not have enough to maintain function, they will leech it from the skeleton.

Leeching calcium from the skeleton leaves a trail of bone behind like stretched taffy that hardens.

This is the bone spur.

To take care of a bone spur in the heel without surgery:

  1. Do not take any pain meds, invest in a heel cup from the Pharmacy instead

  2. Increase your calcium intake (personally I recommend eating at least one can of sardines a day and then supplement it with a good part of dairy products)

  3. After two weeks of increased calcium levels, begin massaging the area where the spur is. Massage or even stomp on the floor as much as you can take without injuring yourself. This will facilitate the breaking of the spur. And then eventually you will feel a buzzing in the area you had the spur. It will feel like there is a bee dancing inside your foot. It doesn't hurt, it just feels weird. This is the cells in your body doing clean up duty on the leeched calcium particles.

Your foot will now be free of a spur and should be good to go after a week or so after you experience the buzzing in your foot.
