You evidently don't understand the Constitution then. It's a pretty ragged device at this point but not for the reasons the libfaggots say. It needs (among other things):
the removal of the General Welfare clause
an absolute prohibition on central banking
term limits for Congress
rollback of every amendment back to the 10th
The 14th Amendment was forced onto the states probably by Rothschild influence. People say the Income Tax amendment wasn't ratified correctly but you really need to look at the 14th because it gave the feds police powers over the states which has been AWFUL in experience. The 14th was basically forced onto the country after Lincoln's death in a way LBJ would be proud of.

People interpret the Constitution like they interpret the Bible: very badly. It was written for poetry not for specificity. The amendments are appended rather than integrated inline because they wanted to preserve the poetry. And here we are.
