Abel – the missing link

Okay, so….. I got a couple questions and thoughts. And I thought, why not share them here. Tyia for your attention. The story of God’s creation. the very beginnings of the Hebrew and dare I say it? human history. This story of creation is an amazing, eerily accurate depiction of actual events. See for yourself, line it up with what we know now. and you will be amazed. Just disregard the 24hr/ 7 days thing. We are passing down a story from generation to generation and has survive the test of time. Stories like these can use some streamlining. Anyway, Everything is great and then comes chapter two. Suddenly, we’re back to barren earth, adam is made out of clay and there are no females. poor, poor adam is a lone creation. He is given everything, waited on, catered to by God almighty himself. That’s not enough, pity is bestowed upon poor poor adam and Adam needs a “helper”. Wtf? im not even going to continue with that farce of a story. How the hell did this fly? Oh yea, I remember it started with if you disagreed you were stoned to death and ended with if you speak up about disagreeing with it death by fire. Takes a toll. I remember when I first heard the serpent story, I was 7 or 8? and I was promptly told eve and all women thereafter cursed mankind and every ail that befalls man is and will be somehow, woman’s fault. So is your plight little girl, they said with a straight face. Even then I was like, I don’t think so, somebody needs to fuck right off. that is a lie. I remember looking around waiting for someone to call out this obvious falsehood. I was a child of God and meant no harm to anyone. you folks had just proclaimed that a few minutes ago so what gives? Not to mention Adam is a big fat pussy. No responsibility at all for his own actions. The woman did it to me. Idk whats going on, I just follow her tits. Of for shame. Anyway…..nobody said anything, I was just met with blank stares and from that day forward I became a problem. it was clear, the hundreds of years of inquisitions/witch burnings/draw and quartering of heretics do a bang up job of subduing dissension for literally generations and generations. This is modern day, 2022 but not one piece of the bible can be questioned regardless of how blatant the bullshit. You hear the same old shit, you either accept it all (the Bible) or you accept nothing. You don’t get to cherry pick. To wit I say, what the fuck ever. Im not the one throwing the baby out with the bath water. And I have questions. AND I got answers …. From the Bible. So? Haha. I guess.

Now if current events has taught me anything it is how easy and insanely common it is for anyone and everyone to re-write history. Especially today. there is an overload of information. There are as many stories about what happened in the beginning as there are shits to be had. you can, if you want find an alternate ending to any scenario you want. Pick a card, any card!

now this maneuver, re-writing history to suit my desired outcome, started somewhere right? there has to be a first?? Wellugh….low and behold, here I gotcha the first case. Genesis Ch 2-6.

Now, bc I can, am going to make a new timeline and say that the increase/spike in the cranium of homo sapiens and the eating from the tree of knowledge are the same event. This means adam and eve are 1.5 million years old, give or take. Its unlikely there was a serpent or trickery. Most likely, Our evolution to this next stage was agreed upon mutually, naturally. According to artifacts, the development of agriculture didn’t really get grooving till 12,000BC. Give or take So? This means adam & eve the originals couldn’t be the parents of Abel and Cain. This admission comes from the Bible. “Abel became a herder of sheep while Cain sought to be a cultivator of the earth.” Both of these are activities occurring well into our human adventure. Like 1,488,000 years into our adventure. That is a lot of time. Now, im all for stream lining a story but ….. there’s a hell of a gap.

So the end of Genesis Chapter One gets cut off. Im goin say the ending was more along the lines of God created male and female in its own image and everyone lived happily ever after in a garden of eden. Minus the droughts and floods and earth shakes and volcanos that happen from time to time and acted as the catalyst to keep everybody on the move. But aside from all that, it was indeed a Garden of Eden. A small band of people’s on a great big planet and the world was at their feet. These ancient peoples were not stupid. don’t buy into for a minute those depictions of primitive man being dumb. That moment in time where our brains, our bodies were given the gift of self-reflection and command over our own destiny was no different, is the same as our brains today. Back in my day it was popular to depict primitive man more with the behavior of a monkey than a truly thinking thoughtful creature. Without rush, eyes seeing everything and muscles ready for anything. Nah, instead our academic eleites went with hunched over grunting half ape ahalf man thing. And for some reason every documentary about it showed two maybe three people wandering around. Maybe fear was still in the backs of their minds? Shrugs. idk, But that is not how we were.

So I proclaim, humans from a million years ago, from whatever beginning year it was, those humans, were as smart (if not smarter) as you/me. Humanity’s leap into the realms of consciousness began, everything is a progression and the quest for expanded awareness (God’s/Creation/the Great Eagle’s) is full speed ahead. God looked upon his works and said it is good. (God changes that thought later, for good reason am I right? )

Okay….. fast forward to the year 12,000BC, give or take. Two new characters arrive on the scene. Abel and Cain. Now im going to use some of my own logic and ask why it was necessary to say adam and eve were the parents. By the time we get to Abel and cain, the story of creation we find in chapter one is already being handed down to subsequent generations. AND I suspect it included adam and eve. Using an anthropological timeline, its easy for me to figure the story had been handed down for no less than 100k yrs. So? if one is honest with themselves, you can see the story takes a bizarre turn. Something happened. Something catastrophic enough for there to be a need to turn on its head the original story. They (the elders) couldn’t get rid of it and start over. The story had gone on for too long. so? They tweak it. so what was this catastrophic event? Well, let’s imagine. We are part of, living in what is virtually a traveling small town, you live in a land where vegetation, game and fresh water are well supplied. all the town’s folk work in harmony for the collective good of the tribe. It’s a given, there is no thinking about it or wondering, it is done each to what they were given be their strengths and their clear purpose. Everyone is happy and without want as a result. There is even free time for self-expression, tinkering, exploring, collecting. After some time, this small town grows roots, less time is spent traveling and the means to settle down are made. We no longer have to hunt. We can tend to flocks of sheep, and have all sorts of goodys as a result of that arrangement. Clothes, milk, meat. It is a beautiful thing. Now enters Cain. He is a visionary. He see the town growing and He has dreams of cultivating the ground and producing olive trees for as far as the eye can see. Fields of grain so vast they can feed their tribe a 100xs over with grain to spare. He’ll be a hero, everyone will love him and suck his ……Something along those lines. But the road is hard for such a vision and the Lord apparently didn’t find any favor with Cain’s endeavors. The Good Lord didn’t help to make it easy. Cain struggled.

But after some time, they say, Cain was able to produce something and he presented an offering to God. And nothing happened. Abel tended sheep. In gratitude, Abel would offer the fattiest, juiciest, choicest of his flock to God. God is a big fan of BBQ I guess bc according to our story, Abel was greatly blessed by God. Idk what that means or what it looks like exactly. But whatever it was it really pissed off Cain. Cain began to harbor all the nasty ugly feelings a heart can harbor and there they festered. Hatred, rage, jealousy and never forget greed. Shaking my head. Anyway, It is so bad that The Lord sees fit to intervein and warns Cain of his folly. Why are you angry? There is no need …. Sin is crouching at your door, it desires to have you, but you must master it.” I find it interesting how Cain doesn’t even take time to ponder God’s words, nope, Cain promptly responds with luring his brother out to the field and killing him. Pre-meditated. In cold blood. His brother. His flesh and blood. The son of his mother’s womb, like himself. Cain killed his brother bc he hated him having what he did not. Is the bottom line. Now imagine if you will, the horror of finding your good son, the son God even favored more, dead. Bleeding from his head. Dead. He was not fighting his brother. Smh. And when you ask Cain about it, he basically tells whoever is asking to fuck off. Im not my brother’s keeper. Liar. Anyway………. Here is where all hell breaks loose. THIS is the moment in time where everything changes. Now as convenient as it is to have no witnesses aside from adam, eve, God and a serpent, we know this isn’t true. it is far from the truth. Im making up a number but realistically its gotta be what? 500. 1500 souls? Idk, but everyone can see what Cain has done, the women folk are outraged, the men folk are outraged, everybody is outraged. And rightly so. Abel was one of the nicest people the town had the pleasure of knowing. Idk, could be true but im making stuff up as to who Abel was. Anyway, I can easily imagine the feelings of shock and natural disgust. Everybody expect Cain, who is defiant and without remorse, arrogant even. Im not making that up, read it. and then there’s dad, who we all know damn well is so heart broken he cant speak, he cant think. I am suspecting, due to the drastic change occurring later in our story that it is mom who is really angry. She very well could be leading the crusade for swift justice. Son be damned. She is ready for the Good Lord to have them both. How dare Cain do such a thing. He cant be allowed to carry on as though nothing has changed. Everything has changed. Is not true justice a life for a life. This was no accident, this was hatred stewing in a heart and everyone in town knows this. It was so bad God himself had to tell Cain about it. the town knows too. this violent act is everything we have risen up and away from. Animals with no soul behave this way. Screams Eve….. But guess what, Eve cant pull the trigger, she needs the hubby to do it. so she hounds him? And hounds him till his ability to think clearly is shattered. “Adam” cant bring himself to do it. does he forbid anyone else from doing whats right either? Idk. he knows in his heart of hearts the right thing to do is meet this unfortunate event with the same swift abrupt end Cain brought upon Abel. It doesn’t take a genius. but nope. It is too much. New Adam cant lose both sons. Better to allow Cain to further spread his idea of treatment of others, even his own brother with contempt and murderous ways. right? this is a mistake.

To back up my reasoning here, that the proper move was to end Cain’s earthly existence, I would like to point out that later in the history of the Hebrew people, Chapter 22 of Genesis to be precise we see God test Abraham by asking him to sacrifice his only son Isaac. Abraham was prepared to do what Adam could not do. But Isaac hadn’t killed anybody had he. In the grand scheme of things I cant see how killing an innocent boy will fix the problem. Clearly neither did God, So, it was just a test. and then of course there is the crem del crème’. John 3:16. Could Jesus be the incarnated soul of Abel? It always struck me as bizarre how nobody bothers to concern themselves with what happened to Abel. It is as though he were just an extra in a movie. Of no consequence other to point out how big a dickhead asshole your brother can/will be.

Okay, so Cain will get away with murder. He will be exiled though. forced to leave the company of his tribe, so? be happy with that eve? Idk, we do know Cain is free to live out his days and where does he go? He goes on to build cities. And then any legacy he leaves along with everybody else conveniently get killed off in a great flood and now we can forget about what happened to Cain and never speak of him again. Not to mention we fixed it where we don’t have to listen to those pesky self-righteous bitch women anymore. Hmmm. That all works out very nicely said the great ancient Hebrew scribes. Nobody will ever know!

And so it began. The allowance of murder and the suppression of the female. Two grave and costly mistakes. But here we are. we gotta deal with it and more importantly we need to figure out how to eradicate from the world this cancer of violence without using any form of violence. Ideally, initially don’t we need it? JUSTICE!!! uggggg….. It is impossible to pin point a single culprit in which we can lay all the blame. That ship sailed. Besides, It resides in the heart. THAT was the point to begin with. the culprit is me/you. only we can change it. bloody hell we are back to where we started.
