New law in Tennessee as of July 1
SB 2683: A person convicted of first-degree murder for the killing of another in the perpetration or attempted perpetration of aggravated rape, rape, rape of a child, and aggravated rape of a child must be sentenced to life in prison without parole or death.

NEW: Several TX counties will hold a press conference in Brackettville, TX later today where they plan to declare an “invasion” at the border. I’m told they plan to reference Article IV Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution, which guarantees states federal protection from invasion.
