Shadowy USN NC-9D test & trials aircraft just departed Tucson. This aircraft is a very rare bird used to test advanced radar, imaging, & tracking systems. Usually it is found around China Lake test facility. Spoopy that it should turn up in Tucson today.

As far as I'm aware EC-130 Compass Call are electronic warfare/recon aircraft. Both these and their smaller brothers the RC/MC-12 aircraft have been very busy along the Mexican border & trafficking routes up into Cali & Nevada for some time.
