The 8kun DNS has changed but I don't know when since it must be at least a few weeks since I last checked. All 8kun domains now share a single IP address (203.28.246.200) which is owned by Vanwatech. The previous IP addresses did not belong to Vanwatech.

Just seems weird that this attack occurred soon after I discovered this info. Just a coincidence, I guess. Kek.

By the way, the two compromised DNS servers in China are still comped.

Do I need to spell it out? The previous IP addresses were owned by Hosting Technology in the Netherlands and the one for sys.8kun.top was owned by Cogent-174 in Chicago. Now the IP address points directly to Vanwatech and not to an intermediary.

There is an error in the site code which causes a redirect to vanwa.tech from media.8kun.top which is the old domain for the image server. Not much you can do about it, I guess.
