Anons, I threw a handful of shit at Google Ads today. The first time I saw the Dove haircare ad, I just ignored the stupidity. The second time less than twenty minutes later, I reported the ad. It's racially divisive, and portraying a completely false scenario. FYI, the ad is set at a school entrance, with a very thin, red-haired white woman as a teacher. A black father drops off his five-year-old daughter, who has neatly braided hair that fell about to her shoulders. The "teacher" says "we have a hair policy…" as if there is some kind of problem. The premise: stop hair-based discrimination.
WTAF? This is NOT 1962, and no person in their right mind would say anything as stupid as this.
