I think I have an idea what the deal is with CA and water in the south valley. As I'm watching the earthquake guy's videos, he's showing a LOT of pumping activity (oil wells, fracking) in the south valley as well as in other areas around So. Cal. It's something I noticed as well as I was driving home from vacation. I don't recall there being so many oil wells. Could the oil companies be making a grab for the land?
