Anon used to have medically induced visions a few years back. Hundreds of them, some were clearly the future and it was my sense that it was Earth…particularly since I was in it and not just observing like usual.
In the ones where I died, it was due to fires spreading out of control from fireballs raining down.
There was no where to hide. In one, I was trying to save a paniced dog by boosting a Ford Fairmont in a Sam's Club parking lot, but we didn't make it out…in another, I was running into a 2-story on fire and kids on the second floor, but we all died. Another one, was a little more hopeful until it wasn't; where a bunch of evacuees including myself were sheltering in a hotel lobby away from the city, but the fires eventually closed in on us and you can guess the rest.
