The explosion on the opposite side lifted the top stone from that corner and caused shearing stress on the opposite corner which was strong enough to fracture the stone on the opposite end. Imagine what happens when you bend the corner of a piece of cardboard and then straighten it out again. It leaves a gouge. Since stone isn't flexible it's like bending the corner of a saltine cracker. When the top stone dropped back down on the remaining stones it likely caused additional stress (shockwave/vibrational stresses) on the remaining areas. That whole temple has been destroyed and has to come down.
