Honestly I disagree with AA… First Mistake is basically telling everybody they are helpless against their -disease- and AA is the only choice, it's an odd cult like feeling sometimes.
YOU are capable of YOUR OWN decisions about your Alcohol… Don't let ANYBODY ever tell you any different. Especially not AA… Why would you convince someone they are helpless against their own struggle… seems opposite to me.
I know people that have struggled through Addiction, Brother. You are not alone. You are NOT helpless… You have more power than you realize. Find it.
