Several Dutch protesters say they were inspired by the Canadian Freedom Convoy and Canadian truckers earlier this year.

Speaking to TCS Editor-in-Chief Keean Bexte outside a protest last night, Dutch protester Sander said, “I think lots of people got inspired by the Freedom Convoy in Canada, way before, when the COVID protests started in Holland.”

“Lots of people followed the truckers in Canada,” Sander continues. “And some of those people are joining convoys in the Netherlands to support farmers, and some farmers are, of course, aware — especially truckers who joined convoys as well. They, especially truckers, followed the convoys in Canada.”

The next day, Bexte interviewed another Dutchman protesting outside the prison holding Jouke, a 16-year-old who was shot at by police before being arrested. Jouke has since been released.

“Did you see the protest in Canada?” Bexte asked.

“Yes, I have seen them,” he responded.

“Do you think it’s a similar situation [in the Netherlands]?” Bexte asked.

“Yes. For the majority, it’s the same,” the protester said.

Bexte then asked what the farmers wanted.

“The farmers want a stable future. A normal, stable future and not like [what’s happening now]. They buy the farm, and then [the farm] is gone. That’s a problem. They want to live.”

The protester also says that farmers hanging themselves after losing their farms is a crisis in the Netherlands right now.

He further states that the recent climate policy isn’t just affecting farmers. It’s affecting everything from agriculture to airplanes.

‘Betrayal’: Canadian Soldiers Ousted Over Vaccine Mandate Speak Out

Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members who left the institution or were forced out for refusing the COVID-19 vaccines say they feel betrayed by the organization they vowed to serve.

The Epoch Times interviewed several former soldiers willing to speak on the record about their experiences.

The CAF directive for mandatory vaccination was issued in October last year, and members had to attest to their status by mid-November.

The directive left the possibility of seeking an exemption on various grounds, such as for medical or religious reasons, but few accommodations were granted.

While the federal government suspended the vaccine mandate for its workforce in June, the CAF’s mandate remains in place and is under review.

Former soldiers who spoke to The Epoch Times had various reasons for not wanting the jab, with the core issue revolving around personal choice and their own risk assessment.

All of them sought accommodation but were denied, and some chose voluntary release to avoid their record being tainted by the dreaded mention of “5(f), Unsuitable for further service”—a dishonourable discharge.

‘Not Suitable’

“I sort of got released for the same reason that I joined, which was that I stand up for what I believe in,” says Justin Tenhage, who served for seven years as a reserves infantryman.

Tenhage recently joined James Topp, the veteran who marched from Vancouver to Ottawa to protest against vaccine mandates, for part of the journey.

“There was definitely a sense of … betrayal,” he says when describing how he feels about being pushed out of the military over the mandate.

“You train to fight and die with your brothers, and for your regiment, and for your leaders, and to be told that you’re not suitable to do so because of your choice, and because of standing up for what you believe in, it’s really difficult.”

Tenhage says he felt forced to voluntarily release in order to avoid the 5(f) discharge, so as not to impact his future career aspirations. Continue…

To achieve its goal of reducing nitrogen emissions, the government intends to arrange and formulate these plans by, you guessed it, 2030. Is it any surprise that Mark Rutte, the prime minister, is an “agenda contributor” to the World Economic Forum?

Klaus Schwab, the chairman of the World Economic Forum is closely connected to the Dutch government and Rutte, especially given the Forum's new Food Innovation Hub initiative. These widespread changes to our systems are commonly referred to as the Great Reset, which Rutte says he knows nothing about.

These protests involving tractors blockading airports, international borders and highways are reminiscent of the Canadian trucker convoy. An odd coincidence in the comparison between the two countries' protests is the close relationship between Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Rutte.

And it seems like the Dutch protesters are inspired by Canadian truckers while Rutte is inspired by Canadian climate policy.

“The shared values of freedom and democracy,” Rutte said in the past. “This is something that binds the two countries together.”

However, much like the brutal shakedown of Canadian truckers, Rutte’s policemen have not been upholding the promise of his party, the so-called People's Party for Freedom and Democracy.

This is what Trudeau said after having repeatedly stated that Canada is a genocidal country, and after vilifying unvaccinated citizens.

In February, 2022, during the Freedom Convoy, Trudeau claimed that truckers and protesters in attendance were a “fringe minority with unacceptable views.”

Therefore, does Trudeau really believe what he said during the Canada Day Liberal event?

In fact, as we know all too well, not only did the PM not meet with these peaceful protesters (many of whom had driven thousands of kilometres to get to Parliament Hill) but Justin and his main minion, Jagmeet Singh, endlessly demonized the demonstrators. They were called misogynists, homophobes, Islamophobes, etc. (even though there was zero evidence to back up such slurs.)

They were branded as criminals, even though they were only guilty of bylaw infractions and that real crime in Ottawa actually plunged during their visit. And the vilification was topped off with the completely unnecessary invocation of the Emergencies Act. (Then again, Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino claimed that law enforcement agencies pestered the government to invoke these measures, which, alas, turned out to be a lie. Shockers!)

Naturally, the bought-and-paid-for mainstream media maintained the narrative that barbarians were at the gate; that this was the genesis of an “insurrection”; that the City of Ottawa was being held hostage. Lies, lies, and yet more lies.

In this regard, one must forgive those who got the wrong impression about the freedom convoy. When government officials and bureaucrats and members of law enforcement and the mainstream media are all onside with an identical demonizing narrative, it’s hard not to get conned.

Now that UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has resigned, many are asking if Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will share the same fate.

t has been a tumultuous last few months for Johnson, who has been repeatedly dogged by scandal after scandal while in power.

Earlier this week, the governing Tories saw numerous high-profile resignations, including 50 ministers and parliamentary aides abandoning ship.

While announcing his resignation, Johnson told the nation he would stay on until a new Conservative Party leader was chosen.

“The process of choosing that new leader should begin now. And today, I have appointed a cabinet to serve, as I will until a new leader is in place,” said Johnson.

“I know that there will be many people who are relieved and perhaps quite a few who will also be disappointed. And I want you to know how sad I am to be giving up the best job in the world.”

There are many similarities between Johnson’s predicament and Trudeau’s current status in the House of Commons.

Like Johnson, Trudeau has faced scandal after scandal, with the most recent incident involving RCMP commissioner Brenda Lucki who is accused of trying to interfere in the investigation of the Nova Scotia mass shooting.

The scandal that seemed to be the final nail in the coffin for Johnson was his appointment of MP Chris Pincher as deputy chief whip despite knowing that he was accused of groping two men.

Not only has Trudeau himself been accused of groping a reporter in 2000, but his cabinet was also plagued with allegations that former defence minister Harjit Sajjan was aware of sexual misconduct allegations made against chief military brass.

Conservative MP and deputy shadow minister Tako van Popta took to Twitter to argue that “changes can be made” to the government, citing Johnson’s resignation.

Others, including the advocacy group Canada Proud, asked Canadians whether they think Trudeau should be removed from office like Johnson.
