That's weak, but I'll tell you that the temple in Jerusalem was very much like a genie's lamp. You see the temple was the lamp, and inside the lamp resided a genie who was supposed to make your wishes come true with the proper offerings of coin and high quality items. Where men of the cloth would live by a different standard than they would preach to their people. Makes no difference whether it was the one temple to the one god, or all the other temples to whatever other gods, everybody before Jesus worshipped in the same way. Quid pro quo.
Your body is your temple and the life inside of that temple comes from the creator and wherever you are and for whatever purpose, you may pray freely and worship all you want and sing and praise knowing you accept Jesus as the sacrifice of sacrifices. That the old ways are over and that the kingdom promised will be realised No more blood or coin in order to pray and be heard, because God is with you wherever you go.
