Who was Jack F. Matlock Jr.?
Many of you know that Q had used Matlock as part of his first couple of passwords (later cracked), but why?
Was he an Andy Griffith fan? Or a fan of a career foreign service officer who became and expert on the Soviet Union and rose to be the last U.S. ambassador as it fell?
Perhaps the latter. Wonder if Mr. Matlock had a guiding hand in the undoing of communism's greatest empire at the time. If so, perhaps he's a genius and worthy of respect. Some might know.
