Former Trump White House counsel Pat Cipollone appeared on Capitol Hill Friday morning for a closed-door interview with House Jan. 6 committee investigators after negotiations over what he could be questioned about.
His testimony will be videotaped and it's expected that clips of Cipollone's deposition will be presented during the committee's upcoming public hearings, according to sources familiar with the planning.

Operation North Star resulted in the total arrest of 192 men and women between June 1 and June 30 in Los Angeles, LAPD Chief Michel Moore said during a news conference Thursday afternoon at the department’s headquarters downtown.

Operation North Star focused on fugitives wanted for the most heinous crimes, including homicide, sexual assault, robbery and aggravated assault. Mexico seizes ‘historic’ cache of fentanyl worth hundreds of millions; arrests made
Assistant Public Safety Secretary Ricardo Mejia called it the largest seizure in history of fentanyl. He estimated the 1,200 pounds of fentanyl found at the warehouse had a black market value of around $230 million. Ten men were arrested.
Fentanyl is 100 times more potent than morphine and as little as two milligrams of fentanyl can be lethal.
Soldiers also found a half-ton of meth in the July 2 raid, as well as cocaine, opium and at least 70 tons of precursor chemicals.
