Austrian Minister of Health: Doctors are Liable for Jab Injuries

Austrian MP Mag. Gerald Hauser recently posed demanding questions to the country’s Minister of Health Johannes Rauch concerning liability surrounding the COVID-19 jabs. Rauch’s responses indicate that medical professionals—who blindly followed the “evidence-less” assurances from the ministry that the shots were safe—could very likely be held responsible in the event of vaccination damage.

Specifically, the Minister of Health’s answers shows doctors would be required to provide adequate information about possible dangers and harmful consequences of the injections in advance so individuals can make an “informed and free decision.” If they fail to do so, medical professionals could face penalties of up to 14,000 euros. According to settled case law with the Austrian Supreme Court, Rauch further explained the implications for doctors, stating:

“The doctor is obligated to inform patients about the possible dangers and harmful consequences of the treatment. There is also an obligation to inform about vaccinations. Before the vaccination is carried out, there is an obligation to inform the person to be vaccinated and—if this [person] is not yet capable of making decisions— one with legal representation in the area of the person entrusted with care and upbringing (legal guardian, usually a parent) about the disease to be prevented and the vaccination so that they can give consent to the vaccination.”

Rauch, who mandated the injections for all Austrian citizens (and quietly ended the mandate in late June), documented that doctors must provide the information to protect the freedom of the decision of the person concerned. Rauch wrote that for individuals to be objectively enlightened, they should be given the information required to understand the nature, importance, and scope of a medical measure, including COVID-19 “vaccines.” When asked what are the consequences for doctors if they fail to provide patients with sufficient information, Rauch responded:

“This question can only be answered to the effect that a lack of clarification [is] a violation of medical standards represent[ing] professional duties. This can be administrative and/or disciplinary, be punished, and result in legal liability consequences.”

The dispute between conservative Freedom Party member Hauser and progressive Green Alternative member Rauch over the experimental COVID-19 “vaccines” is not new. Wochenblick (WB) reported that as early as June 2021, vaccine damage liability could fall on doctors if the patient has not been sufficiently informed in advance about the potentially harmful consequences of the injection, such as the many well-known and severe side effects. According to WB, Hauser has repeatedly stressed, “Vaccination is the problem, not the disease.”

Putin Says if West Wants to Defeat Russia on Battlefield, ‘Let Them Try'

President Vladimir Putin on Thursday challenged the West to try and defeat Russia "on the battlefield" and said Moscow's intervention in Ukraine marked a shift to a "multi-polar world."

Delivering one of his strongest speeches since he sent troops to Ukraine on February 24, Putin also raged against "totalitarian liberalism" that he said the West has sought to impose on the entire world.

"Today we hear that they want to defeat us on the battlefield. Well, what can you say here? Let them try," Putin told senior lawmakers on the 134th day of Russia's offensive in Ukraine.

He accused "the collective West" of unleashing a "war" in Ukraine and said Russia's intervention in the pro-Western country marked the beginning of a shift to a "multi-polar world."

"This process cannot be stopped," he added.

He also warned Kyiv and its Western allies that Moscow has not even started its military campaign in Ukraine "in earnest."

"Everyone should know that we have not started in earnest yet," he said.

"At the same time we are not refusing to hold peace negotiations but those who are refusing should know that it will be harder to come to an agreement with us" at a later stage.

Putin said most countries did not want to follow the Western model of "totalitarian liberalism" and "hypocritical double standards."

"People in most countries do not want such a life and such a future," he said.

"They are simply tired of kneeling, humiliating themselves in front of those who consider themselves exceptional."

DeSantis signs bill requiring survey of Florida students, professors on their political views

Colleges could lose funding if survey of "ideas and perspectives" fails to satisfy state's GOP-run legislature

Public universities in Florida will be required to survey both faculty and students on their political beliefs and viewpoints, with the institutions at risk of losing their funding if the responses are not satisfactory to the state's Republican-led legislature.

The unprecedented project, which was tucked into a law signed Tuesday by Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, is part of a long-running, nationwide right-wing push to promote "intellectual diversity" on campuses — though worries over a lack of details on the survey's privacy protections, and questions over what the results may ultimately be used for, hover over the venture.

Based on the bill's language, survey responses will not necessarily be anonymous — sparking worries among many professors and other university staff that they may be targeted, held back in their careers or even fired for their beliefs.

According to the bill's sponsor, state Sen. Ray Rodrigues, faculty will not be promoted or fired based on their responses, but, as The Tampa Bay Times reported Tuesday, the bill itself does not back up those claims.

The only details on the survey come via a passage over its purpose, to discover "the extent to which competing ideas and perspectives are presented" at public universities, and whether students "feel free to express beliefs and viewpoints on campus and in the classroom."

"It used to be thought that a university campus was a place where you'd be exposed to a lot of different ideas," DeSantis said at a press conference following the bill signing. "Unfortunately, now the norm is, these are more intellectually repressive environments. You have orthodoxies that are promoted, and other viewpoints are shunned or even suppressed."

Republicans have long held that universities promote left-wing ideologies and discriminate against conservative students and staff.

Though the bill does not specify what the survey results will be used for, both DeSantis and Rodrigues suggested that the state could institute budget cuts if university students and staff do not respond in a satisfactory manner.

"That's not worth tax dollars and that's not something that we're going to be supporting moving forward," DeSantis said.

When pressed by reporters, the governor did not offer any specific examples of repression and discrimination faced by conservative students, simply saying that he knows "a lot of parents" who worry about their children being "indoctrinated" on campus.

Florida Senate President Wilton Simpson was more pointed in his criticism Tuesday at a meeting of the state university system's Board of Governors, calling the institutions "socialism factories" — again without much detail on what makes the schools so left-wing.

CDC Drops COVID-19 Death Numbers By Thousands

Skepticism about COVID-19 death numbers started toward the very beginning of the pandemic and now the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has admitted that they reported tens of thousands of COVID-19 fatalities incorrectly.

Recently, the CDC changed the death count and dropped the death count by 72,277. The error covered 26 states and the CDC included a footnote that said the overcount was due to a “coding logic error.”

The Daily Wire’s Mairead Elordi explained, “The CDC also noted that some jurisdictions also included probable COVID cases in their death count and that back in August, the data on COVID-19 deaths was changed after they identified a data discrepancy. So they’re pretty cryptic on what exactly these errors were and why they happened, but the end result is that COVID deaths were apparently significantly overcounted.”

Another coding logic error was discovered in March 2021 when the CDC dropped the COVID-19 death numbers by 24% among those under 18 years of age.

Elordi said, “The huge change in the pediatric death count drops the estimate of COVID deaths in children down to 1,341 nationwide. Children were about 19% of all cases but only about a quarter of a percent of those cases were fatal.”

Twitter also has reportedly laid off employees off as it waits for the Musk deal to go through.

As Twitter continues to wait to sell itself to Elon Musk, who seems like he’s been trying to find a way out of the $44 billion deal for months now, it has joined the slew of tech companies laying off employees amid a tumbling stock market and signs of a recession.

Navy helicopter accidentally drops 5 missiles into Pacific near CA

A U.S. Navy helicopter unintentionally dropped a set of five missiles into the Pacific Ocean in an area near the coast of California in mid-June and still hasn’t found them, despite search efforts to recover the weapons. The incident was first revealed this week.

Navy spokesperson Brian O’Rourke told NBC San Diego that a rigging failure on a MH-60s Knighthawk caused the helicopter to drop two containers carrying a total of five RIM-116 Rolling Airframe Missiles on June 17. The missiles are used as a point-defense weapon to defend warships against anti-ship missiles.

Newsweek reported the helicopter was flown by Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 21 and was attempting to deliver the missiles to the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD-2) during operations in the east Pacific.

Efforts to recover the lost missiles are still underway. The cause of the incident is also under investigation.

“The U.S. Navy has not placed any time constraints on the effort to locate the missing ordnance,” read a Navy statement provided to NBC San Diego. “We remain committed to leveraging all resources, including collaborating with local agencies, to locate and recover the missiles.”

O’Rourke told NBC San Diego that the lost missiles are missing key parts and it is unlikely that they will detonate underwater.

Naval Air Forces spokesman Ensign Bryan Blair similarly told Navy Times that the missiles are not likely to detonate “as they were encapsulated for shipping and missing key components for activation.”

“We remain committed to leveraging all resources, including collaborating with local agencies, to locate and recover the missiles,” Blair added.

No personnel were injured and the helicopter was undamaged after losing its hold on the five missiles. The loss of the missiles was still classified as a Class-A mishap, the most severe mishap label. Class-A mishaps are any incident that results in the death or permanent total disability of an individual or which results in $2.5 million worth of damage to equipment.

According to military weapons sales figures, each RIM-116 missile costs about $900,000. Five RIM-116 missiles have a value of about $4.5 million total.

According to a Navy fact sheet, the RIM-116 missile is “a lightweight, quick-reaction, fire-and-forget missile designed to destroy anti-ship cruise missiles and asymmetric air and surface threats.” The missile was intended to be a relatively low-cost means of protecting warships. The missiles are employed on U.S. amphibious landing ships, landing platform dock ships, carriers, and littoral combat ships.

Each missile is about 9 feet long and weighs about 164 pounds.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken will not be holding a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Bali, Indonesia, this week, the State Department said.

According to The Hill, State Department spokesman Ned Price said Tuesday that the “time is not right” for bilateral engagement with Russia because of the war in Ukraine. Both Blinken and Lavrov arrived in Bali on Thursday ahead of the planned G20 meetings.

Russia confirmed on Thursday that there are no plans for a Blinken-Lavrov meeting. “Nothing is being planned,” said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said, according to Tass. “Given the circumstances, existing contacts via embassies and sporadic telephone calls are quite enough for us to work in detail on current issues.”

The US has abandoned diplomacy with Russia since Russian President Vladimir Putin launched his invasion of Ukraine on February 24. Blinken hasn’t spoken with Lavrov since February 15, and President Biden hasn’t shown any interest in holding talks with Putin.

Blinken canceled his last planned meeting with Lavrov on February 22, after Russia recognized the independence of the Donbas republics, a move that came right before the invasion.

Russia has said it’s open to holding arms control talks with the US, as only one nuclear arms treaty remains between the two powers, but the Biden administration hasn’t shown any interest in pursuing such negotiations.

Germany’s Largest Landlord To Restrict Heating At Night

Two days ago, Germany’s second-largest town of Hamburg told residents to prepare for hot-water rationing during certain times of the day due to “an acute gas shortage.”

Now, Germany’s largest landlord has warned tenants that when the heating season starts in autumn, they will only be able to turn their heat up to 17C (62.6F) between the hours of 11pm and 6am.

In a Thursday announcement, Vonovia said the move was intended to save energy and gas use during the current crisis. The company added that the change won’t affect daytime temperatures, and that access to hot water won’t be affected, meaning tenants can wash and shower as usual according to The Local.

Workers will modify the heating system during routine maintenance, and is expected to save around 8% on heating costs once the change comes into force.

Vonovia’s announcement comes after it emerged that a housing co-op in Saxony had taken drastic steps to minimise energy use in its buildings – including turning off the hot water for several hours a day.

The move means tenants of Dippoldiswalde Housing Cooperative can only take warm showers in the early mornings and late afternoons on the weekdays. The heating systems are also set to remain off until September. -The Local

Meanwhile, Germany’s Federal Network Agency has been pushing for a change in the legal-minimum temperatures for tenants — with president Klaus Müller telling the Rheinische Post last month that tenants should face pressure to reduce their energy usage ahead of winter.

“In tenancy law, there are specifications according to which the landlord must set the heating system so that a minimum temperature of between 20C and 22C is achieved,” he said, adding “The state could temporarily lower the specifications for landlords. We are discussing this with politicians.”

Right now the legal-minimum temperature is currently 16-17C in the night, and 20-22C (68-71.6F) during the day.

With Germany scrambling to replenish its energy supply for the winter, Economics Minister Robert Habeck (Greens) has set strict legal targets for gas storage facilities — with just 40% of the usual deliveries flowing through the Nord Stream 1 pipeline from Russia.

If the situation continues to deteriorate, caps on energy usage or other measures, such as reducing temperatures in apartment complexes, may be ordered at the federal level.

It was already then that BHL realized that in the near future, Russia would invade Ukraine and create the devastating war that we’ve been seeing in recent months.

BHL recently released a documentary film, Why Ukraine, where he displays his travels in the battlefields of Ukraine. On the ground at the front line of the country’s civilian resistance, he records the war in Ukraine and urges Europe to take action. The film resonates as an appeal for help in the name of democracy.

On Wednesday evening, i24NEWS hosted the movie premiere in Israel at the Tel Aviv Museum. Distinguished guests included i24NEWS owner Patrick Drahi and Ukraine Ambassador Yevgen Korniychuk.

Lévy, 73, is one of the leaders of the Nouveaux Philosophes (New Philosophers) movement, which he co-founded in 1976. He is one of the most esteemed and best-selling writers in Europe.

BHL is the author of over 30 books, including works of philosophy, fiction and biography. He is a columnist for Le Point, El Pais, Corriere de la Sera, The WorldPost, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and others.

He spoke with The Jerusalem Post, while visiting Israel this week.

What made you want to create a movie about the current war?

Anxiety, and revolt against the extreme extent of the disaster, the total war which was launched, without any reason, against a whole people and civilians. This was a terrible situation. And I felt anxiety because I immediately had a sense that something huge was at stake, something which concerned not only Ukraine, not only the region, but Europe as a whole and the international order, more generally.

So this twofold feeling – first of all, horror, disgust, sorrow; secondly, anxiety and the feeling that we were at the epicenter of disaster, whose extent was worldwide – these two things gave me the sentiment that I had to do this movie.

When did you actually start working on it?

In March, just after the war broke out, very early on.

I saw in the film that you met President Volodymyr Zelensky, who is a proud Jew, and you were also on the front lines. Were there any Jewish aspects to your meetings and experiences in Ukraine?

There’s so many Jewish aspects about Ukraine: historic sites, the president himself and a large and thriving Jewish community.

Homeland Security agent, former agent indicted in alleged Chinese spying operation

The current and former agent were allegedly part of a scheme to undermine Chinese dissidents living in the U.S.

A federal grand jury indicted a Department of Homeland Security agent and a former agent in connection with an alleged Chinese Communist Party-orchestrated plan to stalk, harass and observe critics of the Chinese government living in the U.S.

Craig Miller, who has worked for agency for a decade-and-a-half, and Derrick Taylor, a former agent now working as a private investigator, are accused of accessing information about Chinese activists from a government database and providing that information to two individuals who used it to target victims.

Miller and Taylor were arrested in June. Each faces a count of obstruction of justice. Taylor additionally faces a charge of lying to the FBI in connection with the probe.

Several other men were also indicted in the case – Fan “Frank” Liu, Matthew Ziburis and Qiang “Jason” Sun – all of whom allegedly carried out the "transnational repression scheme to target U.S. residents whose political views and actions are disfavored" by the CCP, according to the Justice Department.

Sun remains at large, though Liu and Ziburis were arrested in March.

"We will defend the rights of people in the United States to engage in free speech and political expression, including views the PRC [People’s Republic of China] government wants to silence," said Matthew Olson, the assistant attorney general for national security.

:As charged, these individuals aided agents of a foreign government in seeking to suppress dissenting voices who have taken refuge here."

The aim of the plot was, as has been the case in a number of recent cases, to discredit pro-democracy Chinese dissidents living in Indiana, New York City and San Francisco.

Taylor was initially retained by an unnamed co-conspirator in the case, then Miller was recruited by Taylor to become part of the operation.

According to the indictment, "Liu, Ziburis and Sun used the information to target and harass the PRC dissidents, while acting on behalf of the PRC government."

According to Voice of America, a spokesperson at the Chinese Embassy in Washington said, "I’m not aware of the specific situation. I would like to stress in principle that the Chinese side always asks overseas Chinese citizens to comply with the host country’s laws and regulations. We firmly oppose acts by the U.S. that groundlessly malign and smear China."

Ukrainian special units were planning to use biological weapons in Eastern Ukraine;

Ukrainian servicemen were involved as volunteers in experiments to assess the tolerance of dangerous infectious diseases;

the official activities of the Pentagon in Ukraine are just a front for illegal military and biological research

Ukraine and other post-Soviet states have become a testing ground for biological weapons not only for the USA, but also for its NATO allies

the U.S. persists on its policy of building up its own military and biological capabilities in circumvention of international agreements.

Briefing on the results of analysing documents related to the military-biological activity of the USA in Ukraine on July 7:

The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation continues analysing the military-biological activity of the USA and its allies in Ukraine and other regions of the world in view of new information received at the liberated territories and at the branch offices of the Defence Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) that form a unified information network.

We have previously stated that the Ukrainian project of the Pentagon do not meet the pertinent healthcare problems of Ukraine, while their implementation has not led to any improvement of the sanitary-epidemiological situation.

The special military operation has led to forming the final report on DTRA activity dated from 2005 to 2016.

The document contains the data on evaluation of healthcare, veterinary and biosecurity system efficiency prepared by a group of U.S. experts in 2016.

This report is a concept document designed for further planification of military-biological activity of the Pentagon in Ukraine that contains conclusions on implementation of the programme guidelines.

Despite the more than 10-year-long period of cooperation in the alleged ‘…reduction of biological threats…’, the experts have stated:

‘…There is no legislation on the control of highly dangerous pathogens in the country, there are significant deficiencies in biosafety… The current state of resources makes it impossible for laboratories to respond effectively to public health emergencies…’

The document emphasises that ‘…over the past five years, Ukraine has shown no progress in implementing international health regulations of the World Health Organisation’.

The report pays particular attention to non-compliance with biosafety requirements when working and storing microbial collections.

US Treasury Report: World Governments Need To Come Together To Enforce Crypto Regulation

The U.S. Treasury Department released a report on Thursday that directs President Joe Biden to take a more global approach to digital asset regulation, including cryptocurrencies.

Namely, the report calls on cooperation and engagement with the Group of Seven (G7), G20, Financial Stability Board (FSB), International Monetary Fund (IMF), Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), World Bank, and more to address international crypto regulation.

The report outlines a framework to develop a set of global standards for online currencies and digital payments that will protect consumers and businesses while achieving financial stability.

"International cooperation among public authorities, the private sector, and other stakeholders" is critical "to maintaining high regulatory standards and a level playing field, expanding access to safe and affordable financial services, and reducing the cost of domestic and cross-border payments, including through the continued modernization of public payment systems," the report reads.

The report also calls on the U.S., in partnership with international allies, to focus on arbitrage, money laundering, terrorist financing, and sanction evasion in crypto spaces. US Border Patrol, Toa Baja Police Seize 1,342 Pounds of Cocaine in Northern Puerto Rico

TOA BAJA, Puerto Rico –U.S. Border Patrol Agents and the Toa Baja Municipal Police seized 1,342 (609 Kilos) of cocaine left inside a smuggling vessel in El Paraiso Beach. The estimated value of the contraband is $12.7 million.

On July 7, Ramey Sector Border Patrol agents responded after the Toa Baja Municipal Police Department, an Operation Stonegarden partner, discovered a smuggling vessel beached near Playa El Paraiso.

The smuggling was vessel described as a 22' fiberglass Eduardoño type vessel, blue in color, and powered by two 60-hp outboard engines. A thorough search revealed 14 bundles and one brick of suspected narcotics.

The bricks had a white powdery substance which tested positive for the properties of cocaine.

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) took custody of the contraband for investigation.

The Operation Stonegarden Grant Program (OPSG) enhances cooperation and coordination from the U.S. Border Patrol with local, tribal, territorial, state and federal law enforcement agencies in a joint mission to secure the border.

Mayor cancels Montreal drag queen story hour over subject matter concerns

Canadian drag queen Barbada De Barbades says that a Montreal borough cancelled its upcoming Drag Queen storytime event for children at a local library.

Barbada, real name Sebastien Potvin, says that the drag queen has been doing storytimes for children for around five years. Potvin said that it was the first time an event of his has been cancelled in this manor.

Facebook, Twitter remove Shinzo Abe assassination videos

Twitter, Facebook parent Meta and other social media companies scrambled Friday to police videos on their platforms of the assassination of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe that break rules on harmful content.

Multiple videos of the attack by a gunman who fired a homemade, double-barreled weapon twice at Abe circulated on social media. Some only show the moments before and after the attack while others showed both shots.

Abe, who stepped down in 2020, was shot moments into a speech, airlifted to hospital, and later pronounced dead. Police arrested the suspected gunman at the scene.
