I was in a successful band making our way up the ladder. In 1992, we were told by our label that they don't need musicians anymore - computers can do that. They needed images they could mold and players willing to play along. That was the end of our careers.

I saw the writing on the wall one day in studio. I recorded a guitar solo and messed up a bit. I asked the engineer to let me re-do and he said "don't worry, I've already fixed it". That's when I knew our music wasn't made by artists anymore.
