A University of Saskatchewan professor who was cancelled for voicing controversial views on Covid-19 vaccination is taking his former employer and provincial health authorities to court.
Dr. Francis Christian was suspended from his job as a professor of surgery after he called Covid shots “experimental injections” and said vaccinations of children against Covid-19 should be halted.
The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF) has filed a claim on behalf of Christian challenging his suspension and termination from his teaching post.
“The Saskatchewan Health Authority and the college have violated Dr. Christian’s Charter-protected freedoms of expression and conscience. The college’s conduct is a gross violation of the principles of academic freedom and scientific inquiry,” JCCF lawyer Andre Memauri wrote in court documents.
“The defamatory statements made by some of the defendants against Dr. Christian add insult to injury, and Dr. Christian will pursue justice accordingly.” Continue…

The justice's latest decision leaves Lich's time behind bars this time at nearly three weeks and counting for breach of her release conditions on charges of mischief and counselling others to commit mischief, among others. Authorities pounced on Lich when she posted a video and photo of herself on social media at a Toronto event with other people connected to Ottawa’s Freedom Convoy.
Lich was taken into custody in Medicine Hat, Alberta on June 27 after Ottawa police took the unusual measure of issuing a Canada-wide warrant for her arrest.
“What I’m really frustrated about is where I come from in northern Alberta we have thieves that run around our communities with impunity. They get bail repeatedly,” MP Viersen told Rebel News at an Edmonton event for federal Conservative leadership candidate Leslyn Lewis.
“I have a story in Westlock where the same person was let out on bail twice …. before they actually kept her in jail,” he said.
“Our own communities are being terrorized by criminals who are stealing all our stuff and the bail system doesn’t seem to work at all for them.
“And yet, here we have somebody who disagrees with the prime minister on some fairly fundamental freedoms in the country and the bail system seems to be working overtime in order to make sure she doesn’t go on Facebook,” said Viersen.
Lich faces charges of mischief, counselling mischief, obstructing police, counselling to obstruct police, counselling intimidation, and intimidation by blocking and obstructing one or more highways in relation to the protest that was held in Ottawa over roughly three weeks this past winter.

In its latest attempt to bury the evidence of criminal malpractice related to the development of its experimental mRNA Covid vaccine, Pfizer has reportedly filed a motion to dismiss a whistleblower lawsuit alleging the vaccine maker and two of its contractors manipulated data and committed other acts of fraud during clinical trials.
The case has been placed on hold pending judicial review.
Instead of claiming innocence or that the charges were fabricated, lawyers for the pharmaceutical giant argued that the lawsuit, which was filed under the False Claims Act, should be dropped entirely because the US Government was fully aware of the fraud being committed during the development of the Pfizer’s mRNA jab, according to whistleblower Brook Jackson’s lawyer, who spoke with Children’s Health Defense about the case.
“Pfizer claims they can get away with fraud as long as the government would write them a check despite knowing about the fraud,” attorney Robert Barnes said, before adding that “Pfizer, one of the most criminally fined drug companies in the world, wants to weaken the laws that hold them accountable.”
Unbelievably, Pfizer’s circular argument might actually result in the lawsuit being dismissed, thanks to a 2016, Obama-era Supreme Court decision that weakened the protections against fraud committed by government contractors under the False Claims Act.

“Under the False Claims Act, whistleblowers can be rewarded for confidentially disclosing fraud that results in a financial loss to the federal government.
However, a 2016 U.S. Supreme Court decision that expanded the scope of a legal principle known as “materiality” resulted in a series of federal court decisions in which fraud cases brought under the False Claims Act were dismissed.
As interpreted by the Supreme Court, if the government continued paying a contractor despite the contractor’s fraudulent activity, the fraud was not considered “material” to the contract.
Pfizer is a federal contractor because it signed multiple contracts with the U.S. government to provide COVID-19 vaccines and Paxlovid, a pill used to treat the virus.”

Several Rogers customers continue to be without internet service, despite endless troubleshooting calls with Rogers’ customer service.
According to a statement from Champagne’s office, the minister will meet with Rogers CEO Tony Staffieri and other telecom leaders to discuss improving “the reliability of networks across Canada.”

The Conservatives are demanding that the federal privacy watchdog investigate the Liberal government’s decision to freeze the bank accounts of Freedom Convoy protestors.
According to Blacklock’s Reporter, Conservative MP Adam Chambers wrote a letter to Privacy Commissioner Philipe Dufresne after a damning testimony by bank officials which indicated that the order might have violated the Privacy Act.
“Institutions received no instruction on how to properly store, keep or use the data received from the RCMP,” explained Chambers.
“There were no limits placed or instructions provided regarding how receiving institutions may use or rely on data received even after the Act’s use had expired.”
Chambers went on to say that the Feb. 14 invocation of the Emergencies Act was essentially limitless with regard to what information could be obtained about Canadians.

But before the interview began, a young man was sitting on a bench very near Diaz-Berthiaume, and he was wearing a white N95 mask — outside.
He appeared to be taking selfies on the bench.
However, it seems that selfies were not actually being taken. The man was almost certainly taking pictures and videos of the interactions between the leftist ladies and Rebel News.
But how could that have been the case? And why would anyone make that assumption?
Because around five minutes later, some Antifa types arrived.
The guy presented in the picture above began circulating around Diaz-Berthiaume while he was conducting the interview with the two ladies.
When a bystander walked next to the individuals and told them that if they are Antifa, he isn’t scared of them, the man with the sunglasses responded: “Thank you.”
Which would appear to confirm the allegations.

Canadians have taken to the streets to march in support of Dutch farmers in their fight against their government’s insane climate agenda.
“Truckers, farmers, freedom,” a man with a megaphone can be heard saying.
Video from July 9 shows Canadians marching through the streets of Toronto holding both Canadian and Netherlands flags along with several signs.
“Freedom is essential,” one sign reads, while other signs read “I stand with Dutch farmers” and “Free Tamara.”
Since the protests in Holland began, neighbouring Germany, followed by Italy, Poland, and now Canada, have stood in solidarity with the Dutch in their fight against a nitrogen emissions reduction policy that will kill farming jobs and force many to sell land that’s been in their families for generations.
And Canadians have every reason to stand with the Dutch, as they are facing almost the exact same career-destroying policy.
As previously reported by The Counter Signal, in December 2020, the Trudeau government unveiled their new climate plan, with a focus on reducing nitrous oxide emissions from fertilizer by 30% below 2020 levels by 2030.
“Nitrous oxide emissions, particularly those associated with synthetic nitrogen fertilizer use have also grown significantly. That is why the Government of Canada has set the national fertilizer emissions reduction target, which is part of the commitment to reduce total GHG emissions in Canada by 40-45% by 2030,” a news release from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada reads.
Similarly, Dutch PM Mark Rutte’s government wants to reduce nitrous oxide emissions from fertilizer — except by 50% rather than 30%.
Besides attacking the Agriculture industry, both countries are also the target of the World Economic Forum, having signed up to be pilot countries for the WEF’s “Known Traveller Digital Identity.”
“The pilot group, convened by the World Economic Forum, consists of the Government of Canada and the Netherlands, Air Canada, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Montreal-Trudeau International Airport, Toronto Pearson International Airport, and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol,” writes the WEF.
The website claims it’s based on a “decentralized digital identity” that will allow governments to confirm proof of citizenship and other aspects of identity. Every time a government checks a person’s digital ID, it is added to their record, possibly affecting their standing (i.e., a de facto social credit score).
“These attestations are the backbone of trust and the basis of reputation and, ultimately, how security decisions are made by each participating organization. The more attestations a traveller collects, the more known he or she could become,” it reads.
“It is important to note that in order to be allowed to travel, the traveller must share all information required by the relevant entity (such as a border agency.).”
Indeed, despite living thousands of kilometres away, Canadians and the Dutch have a lot to come together over, and some Dutch protesters have said they took inspiration from the Canadian Freedom Convoy.

A large facility in Almelo owned by Picnic, a Bill Gates-funded grocery delivery company that uses electric vehicles, has suddenly caught fire in the dead of night.
Last year, the company was given a whopping 600 million euros from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and many participating in the ongoing farmers’ protests in Holland have openly stated they believe Gates may be partly responsible for pushing additional climate laws.
Regardless, it still isn’t clear what the cause of the fire was or whether it is tied to the protests — though some have speculated it is in retaliation over the career-destroying nitrogen policy brought in by the Rutte government.

Like previous attempts to hide from dissent, Trudeau released his itinerary at the last minute, but that didn’t stop his detractors from showing up to hurl insults at the bumbling Prime Minister at the Calgary Stampede.
At a pancake breakfast event with everyone’s favourite porch pirate, George Chahal, Trudeau was recorded attempting to give a speech while attendees screamed “traitor” at him — a common occurrence for Trudeau.
Indeed, this comes only days after getting called a “communist pig” who should “go back to China” by a Canadian woman that spotted him in Sudbury, Ontario.
Of course, what actually happened at the Stampede and what was reported were two entirely different stories, and the mainstream media quietly had to amend their articles covering the appearance after lying that Trudeau was “mobbed by admirers.”
Later in the day, apparently not wanting to take the risk of more outbursts, Trudeau headed to the Calgary Stampede’s stadium for a controlled photo-op.
In the photos, Trudeau talks to a handful of Liberal supporters while the stadium can be seen empty in the background.
In all, Trudeau only spent six hours in Calgary for the biggest event in Alberta all year. Unsurprising, as the last time he attended, thousands booed him.

As farmers protests rage in the Netherlands and beyond, the head of one of Canada’s premier agricultural groups is warning that strict domestic emissions targets could spur a similar reaction from the industry.
Strict nitrogen and ammonia emissions caps by the Dutch government have sparked nationwide protests. Tens of thousands of farmers and their supporters have formed convoys throughout the country demanding a referendum on government measures. As a result of the chaos, farmers have even been fired upon by police.
According to President of the Western Canadian Wheat Growers Gunter Jochum, Canadian farmers could also soon have their backs against the wall as a result of emission targets.
“We have talked to other producer groups, we’re very concerned about exactly that same scenario. And will we go to these lengths like what’s happening in the Netherlands? I don’t know,” Jochum told True North.

Quebec-based energy company Utica Resources is suing the Legault government over an anti-energy bill, which they claim violates Article 6 of Quebec’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
The bill, titled “An Act mainly to end petroleum exploration and production and the public financing of those activities,” bans the exploration and production of oil and gas in the province.
The legislation also “revokes petroleum exploration and production licences and authorizations to produce brine” and “requires… the holders of a revoked licence to permanently close wells and restore sites according to the terms and conditions it determines,” with an exception for wells used for government approved pilot projects. China goes full Canada: Chinese storm bank over frozen accounts

Security has violently dispersed Chinese protesters after they attempted to storm a bank that froze their accounts in April.
On Sunday, hundreds of Chinese protesters, some of whom have been denied access to their life savings, were seen attempting to storm a Bank of China in Zhengzhou in the Henan province.
“Henan banks, return my savings!” some protesters screamed.
“Against the corruption and violence of the Henan government,” a banner brought to the protest read.
Police soon arrived and dispersed the crowd.
According to CNN Business, protesters told reporters that protesters began arriving as early as 4 am to avoid authorities who are still implementing authoritarian COVID lockdown measures.
At a separate demonstration in the Shandong protests, one protester said the security guards viciously beat protesters who merely wanted money that belonged to them, adding that she was shocked by the display of force.
“I did not expect them to be so violent and shameless this time. There was no communication, no warning before they brutally dispersed us,” said one protester.
“Why would government employees beat us up? We’re only ordinary people asking for our deposits back, we did nothing wrong.”
Of course, freezing bank accounts is par for the course in Communist China, where the government utilizes bank freezing to drive compliance with laws and the broader social credit score system.
However, following the invocation of the Emergencies Act by PM Justin Trudeau, as well as other actions that leaders in Europe have taken, some are concerned about the possible “Chinafication” of Europe, as well as parts of North America and have suggested social credit scores and bank account freezes may become more common.

Sri Lanka has been rocked by weeks of protests targeting the political establishment as the country roars towards a dire economic crisis.
At the heart of the Sri Lankan crisis is a government policy that banned the use of artificial fertilizer in the country to shift towards organic farming — as well as a major oil and gas crisis. In April 2021, former president Rajapaksa banned all chemical fertilizers in Sri Lanka, only to reverse the policy soon after.
Initially, Sri Lanka was importing non-harmful Nano Nitrogen liquid fertilizer from India while simultaneously banning private companies from importing synthetic products.
“The nitrogen content of organic fertilizer is about 3-4%,” said agriculture expert Udith Jayasinghe.
“For paddy cultivation, 80,000 metric tonnes of nitrogen is needed for this season. This cannot be done entirely from compost fertilizer domestically.”
Despite the reversal, the country plunged into systemic shortages of food and other goods. Sri Lanka, a major rice producer, saw a 30% plunge in paddy yields across the country and vegetable prices doubling.
“We are a tropical country full of rice paddies and banana plantations, but because of this stupid fertilizer ban, now we don’t even have enough food to feed ourselves,” former Sri Lankan governor Rajith Keerthi told the Guardian.
“We have had past economic crises, security crises, but never in Sri Lanka’s history have we had a food crisis.”
At the same time, the island nation struggled with a looming economic crisis caused by record low foreign exchange reserves and ballooning inflation.
Inflation has reached around 75% per year, whereas the country’s rupee lost 44% of its value as of August 2020.
Attempts to patch the wounds caused by Rajapaksa’s agricultural policy were unsuccessful. A $200 million compensation package and increases in government agricultural product purchase prices failed to prevent the crisis.
To add to the flames, the Sri Lankan government recently defaulted on its debts, with prime minister Wickremesinghe declaring that the country was “bankrupt” as of July.
To date, the country has missed interest payments on $1.25 billion worth of bonds and has been downgraded by international credit agencies. Estimates place Sri Lanka’s total debt at $50 billion.
Recent scenes coming out of the country show citizens chasing down wealthy Sri Lankans and police denying people gasoline at gunpoint.
Now, with food and gas running out, protestors have occupied the residences of top officials in the Sri Lankan government, leading to the resignations of president Gotabaya Rajapaksa and prime minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting in over a year. I got the Moderna shot in May 2021 and immediately experienced numbness, tingling, burning, pain, electric shocks, jerky movements, headaches and dizziness.The worst of my symptoms are gone. The last time I had serious symptoms was December 2021. Ever since then, I've improved.
It is now over a year later and I'm probably 98% recovered. I still have muscle twitches and spasms sometimes, but they're very mild compared to what they used to be. I'm a healthy female in my late 20s, never had any health problems prior to the shot. I can't say that there have been any miracle foods or supplements. Ukraine's Zelensky slams Canada

Sanction exemptions will only embolden Moscow, the Ukrainian president says
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has argued that Canada’s move to return a turbine required for a pipeline transporting Russian gas to Germany will be seen as “weakness” by Moscow.
Zelensky said the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has summoned a Canadian envoy over the “absolutely unacceptable” decision to allow the return of a repaired item to Germany. The device is required for Nord Stream, the Baltic Sea pipeline that delivers gas from Russia to Germany.
“The decision on the exemption from the sanctions will be viewed in Moscow only as a sign of weakness,” Zelensky argued in a video address published on Tuesday.
“If a terrorist country can claw out such an exemption from the sanctions, what exemptions will it want tomorrow or the day after tomorrow? It is a very dangerous matter.”
“Now, there can be no doubt that Russia will try not just to limit as much as possible, but to completely shut down the supply of gas to Europe at the most acute moment. This is what we need to prepare for,” Zelensky said.
The turbine had been held up in Canada due to sanctions imposed on Moscow in response to its military campaign in Ukraine. Russian state gas giant Gazprom said last month that it was forced to reduce the flow through Nord Stream because the turbine had not been returned on time. The company then suspended the flow completely for 10 days starting Monday, citing planned maintenance.
German Economy Minister Robert Habeck argued at the time that Gazprom’s decision to reduce the flow through the Nord Stream was politically motivated. At the same time, he also urged Canada to allow the turbine be shipped to Germany.
“Strong sanctions mean it must hurt and harm Russia and [Russian President Vladimir] Putin more than it does our economy,” Habeck told Bloomberg last week. “Therefore, I ask for understanding that we have to take this turbine excuse away from Putin.”
On Monday, Ottawa greenlighted the return of the turbine. “Canada will grant a time-limited and revocable permit to Siemens Canada to allow the return of repaired Nord Stream 1 turbines to Germany,” Natural Resources Minister Jonathan Wilkinson said.
The US Department of State backed the move, saying that, “in the short term, the turbine will allow Germany and other European countries to replenish their gas reserves, increasing their energy security and resiliency and countering Russia’s efforts to weaponize energy.”
