First of all it's plural. Ashley said in her diary that she took showers with her father Joe. She also said she was a sex attack and slept with many friends (boys) when she was young. So Creepy Joe is taking a shower with his daughter Ashley. Both, of course, are naked. When you shower you use soap and wash your body.
