Had a similar situation with my dads 2nd wife, she didnt retain power.

 

I don’t wish this on anyone but she died a miserable death. She wanted my dads money, and faught us and his wishes. She ultimately inherited millions upon her death bed from her aunt, and was angry she didnt get what she wanted all her life.

 

Those type of evil people do not end well. It was pretty horrible according to her daughter.
