To them an abortion is equivalent to getting an enema. They tell themselves that a fetus us just a clump of cells and not really alive. There is no point in talking to them because they have been brainwashing. Nothing will convince them that they are wrong.
They find a way to justify it.
They would just say, "My mother would have had the right to choose, and if she aborted me, I never would have known about it."
And they don't think of it as murder, they think of it as a "medical procedure" like having a mole removed.

Yes. Their way of dealing with guilt, if they have any, is to deny that they have done anything wrong.
And some women are so good at it, that they get multiple abortions. Seems as if some form of birth control would be more desirable than getting an abortion.
I know one girl, who I used to work with, who told me that she had an abortion when she was a teenager. She said her older sister convinced her that it was the right thing to do and then took her to get it. I always felt bad for the girl, that she was coerced into it.
