My younger days involved full throttle partying. Have always had an additive nature but pretty clean now minus the sometimes too much alcohol.
Extremely difficult the benzo detox. Have had an Rx of clonazepam for years and been trying to ditch them for years. Wicked shit!

Coming off Xanax is difficult from what I've read. It's a benzo that doesn't crossover too well to other benzos. It may take a while but eventually they will work. Have you talked to you doc? Maybe a higher dose or possibly go to a different pharmacy where they may have a different drug manufacturer. I've noticed some brands work better for me.
Best yet tho as you know is to try to eliminate them from your life.
