Qs said the ones that scream the loudest have the most to lose. I'm wondering where he might have used his chef skills, and if there was extracurricular activity there he was terrified would be revealed. I also wonder if lower-level members are approached and told what's coming and offered a plea in exchange for flipping.
From all the bits and pieces out there about the crew in general that I see, it looks like he's gone crazy with terror, he might've done some very bad things he knows will come to light.
