Anyone have thoughts on this connection between JFK Jr and John Perry Barlow?

What Do the Grateful Dead and JFK Jr. Have in Common? A $35 Million Wyoming Ranch

A Wyoming ranch with ties to the Grateful Dead and John F. Kennedy Jr. is coming on the market for $35 million. Bar Cross Ranch dates back to the early 1900s, when it was pieced together by P.W. Jenkins, a mathematician who eventually served in the Wyoming State House of Representatives, according to “Mother American Night,” a memoir written by his grandson, John Perry Barlow, with Robert Greenfield. Mr. Barlow, a lyricist for the Grateful Dead, died in 2018.

Mr. Barlow inherited Bar Cross, and in the 1970s wrote music there with Bob Weir, a founding member of the Grateful Dead, according to the book. “We were feeding about eight hundred cows every morning and then writing songs in the afternoon and evening,” Mr. Barlow wrote. In 1977, a teenage John F. Kennedy Jr. spent a summer working with Mr. Barlow on the ranch at his mother’s behest, according to the book. The Kennedy family didn’t respond to a request for comment.
