Egg-zactly. When I first heard of it and started looking into it I felt as you do. But as time passes it seemed more and more obvious as a distraction, like, can't beleive I wasted time on it. The opposition is clever.
Haven't visited it daily since about January, but I was a full blown night shifter before that. I just don't see it. Unless it has somehow escalated recently, but after the whole BO / cleanup its like they really cracked down on even a hint of it. For example, the Hunter pics aren't CP, but the board won't even get close to that line now. I don't see it as a 'problem' on this board, or nearly as prevalent as it was back in the day.
