Victoria’s Secret boss was ‘pimple on New York’s backside’ until Jeffrey Epstein: new doc

July 14, 2022

Long article, LEX WEXNER, this caught anon's eye & the comments are showing full awareness of what this was about (pervs, traffickers and Israeli intelligence/US too)

"As the years went on, Wexner got richer — and Epstein continued to reap the benefits.

By the late 2000s, Victoria’s Secret had amassed a whopping $6 billion in revenue, with top supermodels including Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks and Adriana Lima modeling the brand’s push-ups and panties. Epstein used his friend’s money to his benefit, buying up sprawling estates around the world, including a chic apartment in Paris and a seaside villa in the U.S. Virgin Islands, which ultimately acted as trafficking ports.

Epstein also used Wexner’s acquisition of some 747 cargo jets as well as a fleet of Southern Air Transport plane, which were once owed by the CIA, to bolster his own reputation. Over the years, the hustler “boasted that he had connections” to the intelligence agency, says Ellison.

And building strong ties with the federal government was said to be of utmost importance to Wexner.

The mogul, according to the doc, empowered Epstein to allocate funds towards devising a communication strategy for the Israeli governmentin the wake of the Iraq War. Wexner’s motivation, per journalist Noah Kulwin, co-host of the podcast about the Iraq War “Blowback,” was to make sure “their preferred outcomes happen.” (The mogul’s specific political hopes were not explored in the film, but Wexner is known to be very pro-Israel)."

South Carolina attorney Alex Murdaugh indicted in murder of wife, son

July 14, 2022

Disgraced South Carolina legal scion Alex Murdaugh was charged this week with the double murder of his wife and son on their sprawling family farm last year.

Murdaugh, 54 — a fourth-generation lawyer from a powerful legal family— was indicted Tuesday on two counts of murder and two counts of weapons possession in the grisly shooting deaths of Maggie Murdaugh, 52, and Paul Murdaugh, 22, the state’s district attorney, Alan Wilson, announced Thursday.

The pair was gunned down near a dog kennel on the family’s 1,700-acre hunting estate in Islandton with at least two two separate guns — a rifle and a shotgun — on June 7, 2021.

The elder Murdaugh called 911 and frantically told a dispatcher he had returned home to find the bullet-riddled bodies of his loved ones.

He claimed to have a solid alibi, saying he’d been visiting his dying father in the hospital and checking on his elderly mom when the double slaying unfolded.

But sources later told NBC News that investigators have cellphone video that puts him near the murder scene at the time of the killings, contradicting his alibi claims.

he prominent lawyer was soon hit with dozens of charges over his finances, including allegedly stealing millions and faking his own murder in a botched insurance scam to collect $10 million for his surviving son, Buster.

Murdaugh — who has since blamed his crimes on drug addiction — also stands accused of scamming millions of dollars from the family of his longtime housekeeper, Gloria Satterfield, 57, who died under suspicious circumstances at his home in 2018.

In total, he faces at least 71 charges that he stole $8.5 million from clients. The law firm founded by his family has also alleged that Murdaugh was fired after stealing money from the firm.

The fallen legal scion was charged last month with allegedly laundering millions of dollars in a scheme to distribute the painkiller oxycodone.

At the time of his death, Paul Murdaugh was awaiting trial in the 2019 drunken boating death of a young woman.

On Tuesday, Murdaugh was formally disbarred in South Carolina and was reportedly informed that he’d be charged with the murders of his wife and son.

Murdaugh family

The Murdaugh family is a prominent legal family in the Lowcountry region of South Carolina in the United States. From 1920 to 2006, three members of the family consecutively served as solicitor (i.e. district attorney), in charge of prosecuting all criminal cases in the state's 14th circuit district, leading locals to call the five-county district "Murdaugh Country". The family also founded a nationally influential civil litigation law firm in Hampton, South Carolina.

In 2019, amid allegations of special treatment, several members of the Murdaugh family were implicated in a fatal boating accident. In 2021, two members of the family were murdered, while another was implicated in the mishandling of funds.
