Looks like gold did preciate during Carter years. I’d say that’s the best reference we have right now.

It’s interesting because it seems to be at a precipe.. it couldn’t either sink or swim.
If it falls below a certain point then the trend line for bottom resistance line collapses and it’s fubar’d. If it holds above that then it may bounce hard. Seems like a cointoss right now. Tomorrow and Monday could be quite interesting.
