Wow this lawsuit seems like its disparaging, little kids calling names and saying Musk is a bully and he's ruining twitter.

He didn't suddenly want to get verification his attorney's and investment company have been trying to get that info since April or earlier. It was when someone on twitter showed him how many bots were on there that he said, We relied on the SEC statements from twitter (which I kind of think is BS, they knew twitter was a scam, and I think he always wanted to reveal the truth). But that doesn't mean he didn't want to buy it.

If the SEC were honest and doing their job, they should be investigating Twitter for material misrepresentation of valuation, etc.

This lawsuit sounds like HRC and all the rest of them from Sussman trial making up shit and throwing it at the wall.

I wonder what @Jack thinks about this.

Musk's attorneys are going to demolish them. The only problem is that Court in Delaware

No wonder Twitter is the epitome of disinformation media, this lawsuit looks like what they allow the left to do on twitter, accuse, lie, hate, terrorize and call names

The hyperbole in this lawsuit is wildly childish and obvious, how's it a threat, "that he would reconsider his position as a shareholder"? That's typical negotiating tactics. The only reason the stock price went up is due to his offer. And he's have every right to sell his stock.

"Customary business due diligence" is not as simple as they make it sound, it really is conducted like a forensic accounting audit, with vast amounts of information required. Twitter makes it sound like, hey that's not big thing.

Then he "boasted" that he could "technically afford" to purchase Twitter outright. That's not a boast, it's the truth.

Honestly I think the strategy by twitter is to defame him and make him look like a terrorist, and because of that, we are forcing him to buy the company or pay a billion dollars to get out of it. Does that make any sense?

If they have all of this hatred and distrust of him, why harm the company and other shareholders by forcing him to buy it or pay them a billion dollars.

Even if he's forced to pay a billion dollars, Twitter will crumble and fall, no shareholder would want to participate in such a terribly managed company. Musk has actually revealed so much in public about twitter, I don't think they have a chance since he's not going to buy it.

And when it crumbles and falls, Musk will start his own social media company, which he probably started a long time ago.

Twitter must think Musk is a clown, and he doesn't think things through, he's got 100s of advisors, lawyers etc. they wouldn't let him do something flippantly.

I can't wait to to see the counter suit to twitter. That will be revealing.

This statement is freaking funny, considering bidan is a demented old fool, he could promise to give SA, billions for an ice cream or something.

Biden’s national security adviser Jake Sullivan was spotted rushing to catch up with the pair.
