Anon Opine:
Gonna point out in the Ivana death that accidental death IS posdible. While I have some knowledge of forensics, I do NOT have all the facts in this case, so there could be holes in my logic.
Assuming cardiac arrest is true, one would only need be near the top of the stairs to initiate a fall. It all depends on direction of movement at the time of the cardiac arrest or if not moving, the direction of the “keel over”.
Blunt force trauma to the torso (everywhere from waist to shoulders) to me suggests multiple points of impact (quite plausible given a fall down the stairs). Even without broken bones, at her age, I would expect evidence of internal hemmorhaging (which could be fatal in its own right).
Possible impacts on the spine too?
TLDR: I’m on the fence on if it was an accident or a homicide as BOTH are plausible. I need more evidence (or new facts of the case) to make a decision on what to believe.
