Talk to your kid and explain what is going on and to not associate with those people.
You should also talk to law. Most of them you can trust. You don't have to demand direct action just say your expressing your concern. If you end up talking to someone untrustworthy, you at least send the message that you are aware and are willing to take it somewhere.
