I had always understood the two remained close, after the initial shock and trauma of Donald messing around with Marla. Ivana regained her cool and ever since Donald treated her with great respect, she even became friends again with Marla; and I believe she was friends with Melania, but don't quote me on that.
Anyway, ya I am a little disappointed with that write-up BUT, it could have been intentional misinformation.
