Neil Oliver Outlines the Foolish Pantomime of U.K. Politics as the Candidates for Prime Minister Keep Pretending

July 16, 2022 | Sundance | 71 Comments

While Neil Oliver is describing the insufferable lack of political leadership amid the conservative party in the U.K, almost every point of his weekly monologue could just as easily apply to the United States or any other “western democracy.” The current candidates to replace Boris Johnson are just an extension of the high-minded political class who are pretending to be different, yet they are identical in their globalist outlooks.

….”always the same lines from one leader after another – great reset, build back better, rules based liberal order. The theatrical parallels just keep coming – soap opera, pantomime, now a chorus line of high kicking dancers in perfect time.”…

Oliver asks simple, albeit frustratingly and brutally obvious, questions about what is missing in the candidates who are asking to become the next British Prime Minister. Where is the candidate who represents the issues that matter, the one who isn’t playing a role in a never-ending soap opera that generates nothing except more drama to keep everyone distracted.

Neil Oliver’s points could just as easily be talking about the United States republican party, where almost every elected official is quite happily playing their acting role in the political soap opera, yet no one is doing anything to stop the insane policies that are destroying the foundation of life, liberty and the free pursuit of happiness

Pharma Stooge Gottlieb spreading fear porn for money and vaccines

Gottlieb: Window for Containing Monkeypox ‘Probably Has Closed’

Pam Key17 Jul 2022

Former Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner Dr. Scott Gottlieb said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that the window to control the spread of the monkeypox virus in the United States may be closed.

Partial transcript as follows:

MARGARET: Give us a sense of the scale of this because the CDC numbers are out. They say they’re only eight women within that. No children. You’re saying this is a pandemic? That’s not a word the administration is using yet, what level of emergency are we at?

GOTTLIEB: Yeah look, and I think they’re going to be reluctant to use the word pandemic, because it implies that they’ve failed to contain this. And I think at this point, we’ve failed to contain this. We’re now at the cusp of this becoming an endemic virus where this now becomes something that’s persistent that we need to continue to deal with. I think the window for getting control of this and containing it probably has closed, and if it hasn’t closed, it’s certainly starting to close. 11,000 cases across the world right now. 1,800 cases, as you said, in the US. We’re probably detecting just a fraction of the actual cases because we have a very, we had for a long time a very narrow case definition on who got tested. And by and large, we’re looking in the community of men who have sex with men and STD clinics. So we’re looking there, we’re finding cases there. But it’s a fact that there’s cases outside that community right now. We’re not picking them up, because we’re not looking there. This has spread more broadly in the community. I wouldn’t be surprised there’s thousands of cases right now.

BRENNAN: It’s a little chilling to hear you say containment has failed. I’ve heard you say that before with COVID.

GOTTLIEB: Well look, this isn’t going to explode like COVID. This is a slower moving virus, which is why we could have gotten control of this if we had been more aggressive up front, and we made a lot of the same mistakes that we made with COVID with this – having a very narrow case definition not having enough testing early enough, not deploying vaccine in an aggressive fact- fashion to ring vaccinate. But now this is firmly embedded in the community. And while it’s not going to explode, because it’s harder for this virus to spread, it’s probably going to be persistent, you’ll-you’ll have this as a sort of a fact of life, maybe spreading as a sexually transmitted disease, but also breaking out of those settings.

BRENNAN: So the CDC said monkey pox can show up up to three weeks post exposure. What are the basic symptoms? If you have a rash you call your dermatologist? Who do you call?

GOTTLIEB: Well, it’s a vesicular rash. It’s associated with fever and achiness. You know, the historically used to get a disseminated rash. What we’re seeing right now is people aren’t presenting with a widely diffused rash, but sometimes just a small number of vesicles. So I think it’s being confused with other vesicular rashes, Herpes, Coxsackie could cause a vesicular rash, certainly chickenpox. Right now, anyone who presents with a particular rash that can’t be explained by another etiology. So a rash that causes vesicles, should be tested for monkey pox, whether they come from a high risk community or not. That’s the way we’re going to snuff this out. We didn’t have enough testing to do that. Now CDC has gotten in place more testing this probably adequate testing to broaden it to-to accomplish that. So we should be doing that physicians should be sending off these tests.

BRENNAN: The problem with testing also, it seems that distribution or access to a vaccine is an issue, the mayor of New York, the governor of New York, asking the Biden administration to do more to get them access. Why is this a problem?

GOTTLIEB: Well, we didn’t have adequate stockpiles of the vaccine, the one vaccine that’s proven monkeypox, we only had 2,000 doses in a national strategic stockpile. It was there as a hedge against smallpox, we took our eye off that ball, so we didn’t replenish that supply. They ordered about 300,000 doses that have been delivered. 150,000 have been distributed, another 130,000 will go out this week…

Kinzinger: January 6 Probe ‘Is Not Winding Down’

Pam Key17 Jul 2022

Representative Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that the House Select Committee investigating the January 6, 2021 riot is not winding down, and more hearings are possible.

Partial transcript as follows:

MARGARET BRENNAN: The chairman of the committee, Bennie Thompson, has said you all are still discussing whether to go ahead and try to force a conversation with the former Vice President, Mike Pence, his former chief have a staff Marc Short said on this program, this is very low likelihood of ever happening. Do you personally want to subpoena Mike Pence?

KINZINGER: Look, I personally want to talk to Mike Pence. I think there’s a difference between do we subpoena him? Do we ask him for a transcribed interview? I think it would be important to hear everything he has to say. That said, I’m not sure we get a ton more out of him than what his staff has already told us. The big question we’re still dealing with as a committee is, is there benefit in talking to somebody like Donald Trump and request- and he come in? That’s something we’re negotiating back and forth on whether we want to do that, and- and what that looks like?

BRENNAN: What is the value in speaking directly to the former president and the vice president, when the former vice president’s chief of staff and his legal adviser have testified to you? Why do you need him physically there? And what would the President’s testimony do?

KINZINGER: Yeah, and I’m not sure we do need them physically there. Because, again, we’re getting a lot of information and I think you’ll see after Thursday’s hearing, we know a lot. Look, Donald Trump has made it clear that he doesn’t mind not telling the truth, let’s just put that mildly. He lies all the time, I wouldn’t put it past him to even lie under oath. So I’m not sure what the value is there. That’s again, something we’re- I think the thing to keep in mind is this- this investigation is not winding down. We may be towards the end of this tranche of hearings, we may have more hearings in the future, and the investigation is still ongoing. So we’re we’re- we’re getting to the bottom of what we need to know.

BRENNAN: Tranche of hearings, what does that mean? I mean, how many are you thinking? What more do you have?

KINZINGER: Well, we’ve done- this is- this will be our eighth hearing. This is the end of this kind of grouping. I fully expect when the report comes out, we may have a hearing or two around that. But of course, as you saw with Cassidy Hutchinson, if we get information that the American people need to know, we may end up bringing up more hearings at that time, too.

Jill Biden Whines on Nantucket: ‘Every Time You Turn Around’ Joe Hit with Another Crisis

Charlie Spiering16 Jul 2022

First lady Jill Biden complained in front of donors in Nantucket on Saturday, while delivering a speech at a fundraiser.

Speaking about her husband, President Joe Biden, the first lady appeared saddened by what was happening to the world during his presidency.

“He had so many hopes and plans for things he wanted to do, but every time you turned around, he had to address the problems of the moment,” she said.

Biden spoke to about two dozen guests at the fundraiser for the Democrat National Committee, setting aside her prepared remarks for a frank discussion.

“He’s just had some many things thrown his way,” she said. “Who would have ever thought about what happened … Roe v Wade? Well, maybe we saw it coming, but still we didn’t believe it.”

She also said Biden was unable to predict a war in Ukraine.

“The gun violence in this country is absolutely appalling,” she continued. “We didn’t see the war in Ukraine coming.”

The first lady complained she expected to work on issues like community colleges, military families, and cancer.

“They were supposed to be my areas of focus. But then when we got (there) I had to be, with all that was happening, first lady of the moment,” she said, recalling her trips to Wauseka, Wisconsin, after a man targeted a Christmas parade with his car and her trip to Ukraine to visit the first lady there. (Wait a minute did she just make up going to Wauseka -its Waukesha- when the entire admin ignored it?)

But Jill Biden said her husband was the right person to lead the country during these difficult times.

She recalled the 2020 presidential election in stark terms, indicating that those who voted for Trump were “evil.”

Voters who supported her husband, she explained, “I think they chose him, at least in my mind, maybe yours as well, because it was a choice between good and evil.”

These people are literally insane.

Prominent Pro-Abortion Group Appears To Be Front For Radical Revolutionary Communists

Nicholas PopeJuly 15, 2022 9:47 PM

A prominent pro-abortion activist group downplaying its association with the Revolutionary Communist Party (RCP) shares significant infrastructure and leadership with the radical outfit’s other offshoot groups, a Daily Caller analysis has found.

Although RiseUp4AbortionRights seems like most other pro-abortion groups at first glance, other pro-abortion activists released a statement in late June asserting that RiseUp is a front for a “pyramid scheme” and cult of personality. The Daily Caller’s examination of the organization’s leaders, online presence, and fundraising platforms lend credence to the claim that RiseUp is an offshoot front group for the RCP.

“Support for communism in the U.S. is incredibly low, so one way for these individuals to jump-start is to ride the coattails of something that has much more acceptability” in mainstream discussion of current political events, Brian Levin, director of the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism, told the Daily Caller.

RiseUp shares leadership with the RCP and several of its related organizations. Sunsara Taylor is a prominent RCP spokeswoman and a co-founder of RiseUp. Taylor founded RiseUp in January 2022 to protest for “abortion on demand and without apology.” An earlier pro-abortion group Taylor founded, Stop Patriarchy, used the same slogan and also attracted scrutiny from other pro-abortion activist organizations, the Austin Chronicle reported in 2014. Stop Patriarchy has not posted any new tweets to its Twitter feed since 2020, but the organization’s website features more recent footage of an interview in which Taylor discusses the consequences of the Dobbs decision.

Taylor also founded The World Can’t Wait, Inc., (TWCW) alongside another RCP devotee in 2006 to oppose the Bush administration, particularly its policies in the Middle East.

Taylor went on to co-found another organization, Refuse Fascism, in 2016 to resist the incoming Trump administration. At the time, the RCP took credit for helping create Refuse Fascism on its website. The “what you can do now” quick links section at the bottom of the RCP website still links directly to the Refuse Fascism homepage.

Another leading RiseUp activist, Sam Goldman, is a prominent spokeswoman for Refuse Fascism. In a Jan. 2022 episode of the Refuse Fascism podcast featured on the organization’s website, Goldman stated that she has “been busy helping launch RiseUp4AbortionRights.”

The RCP website promotes digital content from RiseUp and Refuse Fascism. Similarly, Refuse Fascism’s website features digital content from RiseUp and the RCP. All three organizations generally promote each others’ digital content on their websites without making clear the nature of their association.

On its main fundraising portal, RiseUp states that it is sharing certain “tools” with Refuse Fascism until RiseUp “establishes infrastructure” for fundraising of its own. RiseUp’s PayPal fundraising account also includes the name of TWCW. Refuse Fascism and TWCW share a New York City mailing address.

RiseUp’s website claims that the group spends donated funds on protest materials and logistics. Amid accusations of financial impropriety from other pro-abortion groups, RiseUp released a statement promising that it “has never used any funds it has raised for any purposes other than exactly what the funds were raised for.”

The RiseUp statement derided criticism of Taylor and Avakian as “scurrilous and false.” The RCP added that the accusations from other pro-abortion groups “smack strongly of the tactics of the right wing fascist forces in this country and the political police (the FBI, etc.) who create pretexts to go after revolutionary groups” in its own statement. The RCP flatly denied ever having used RiseUp funds in any capacity in its statement.

Taylor refused to say if RiseUp would submit to an independent audit of its financial dealings in order to clear up the accusations, and referred the Daily Caller to previous statements on the matter. Neither RiseUp nor the RCP disclosed documentation in response statements to definitively disprove the allegations of impropriety.

The RCP centers on Avakian’s revolutionary ideology, which RCP materials refer to as “new communism.” Critics, including those who signed the June statement against RiseUp, have claimed that the RCP is a Maoist group that elevates Avakian and his teachings as messianic. The late June statement from pro-abortion groups opposed to RiseUp asserted that the RCP established RiseUp as a front to divert funds and people towards the growth of its ideology rather than earnestly supporting the pro-abortion cause….
